Richa was shaken when they stopped eventually and walked back to elevators and then to the classroom. No words were said as the trainer returned to his class while Richa and the men returned to their classroom. The men had victorious smile while my wife remained coy as the training resumed. The post lunch part was even more boring and many of them were yawning repeatedly. Mandar tried scratching and rubbing Richa's arms, back few times but she kept the distance and maintained demaneor. The trainer gave an assignment prior to coffee break and left the classroom for some time. Nobody seemed particular about the assignment and many headed straight into tea break. Richa was surprised at his confidence but she knew she was having one of the crazy days. She didn't respond anything particular when Raja disconnected the call. A flashback of previous day ran through her and she shuddered wondering what may happen in the evening. But she gave up thinking after a minute or two and then eventually headed back to training room. Most people had joined back while she was slightly late. To her horror, the trainer asked her if she tried solving case study. She felt embarrassed but had to admit not doing it. She went through rest of the session trying hard to understand while bearing all the nudges and elbows from Mandar and Nishant.
The room was dying of boredom when the trainer finally announced closure for the day. He disappeared almost instantly along with many participants. Richa found herself trapped one more time as she noticed Mandar blocking her path again. He didn't attempt anything except smartly blocking until the room was almost empty. But my wife panicked when she found herself with just 3-4 men in the room and the trainer from the previous day at the door! Her heart skipped when the trainer approached her desk. The other 2 men also stayed back wondering to see him approach her.
"Lets catch up downstairs! "
Nishant suggested after a few tense seconds. He didn't mean to include the other men but they acknowledged. My wife was again led downstairs towards the basement. One of the men left at stilt level to attend a phone call leaving my wife with the trainer and 3 men. The new man, Atul, was surprised to see the trainer place his arm around Richa's waist as the lift reached the basement. Richa thought of leaving but her path was blocked somehow and she didn't want any further suspicion to be created.
"One at a time guys! Others need to cover!"
The trainer explained the strategy much to Richa's horror. There was another conflict about the sequence but it was resolved quickly.
