I posted the latest update in haste and half mind. When I look at the story from outside, I feel that the latest update does not gel with the soul of the story. 
I have seen a few readers enjoy the update and few unhappy with it. I respect readers sentiment. But the progress of the story does justify the characters behavior. Hence I shall share an alternative version and progress from there.
