Sukanya got accustomed to the adventures of Meena akka. She sometimes narrated me the story when some interesting incidents happened. For the next few weeks things were routine.
One day I received a call from her.
Me: He babe. I was so bored at work. Glad you called me.
Sukanya: I’m not bored. Just wanted to talk with my husband.
Me: What’s up dear?
Sukanya: Nothing special. Just called.
I know she wanted to share something. I wanted her to tell it on her own.
Me: Had your lunch baby?
Sukanya: Yes I had. Just feeding Rohan.
Like I guessed. Looks like some story.
Me: What happened to your Meena akka?
Sukanya: Nothing. She went to a movie.
Me: She went alone? She should have taken you along with her.
Sukanya: Why would she go alone?

Me: So, doing your job as usual.
Sukanya: This is not my usual job. Just helping her.
Me: Hahaha… I know darling. Why didn’t you also go with them?
Sukanya: Are you mad? How can I go with them?
Me: They are just watching a movie, right?
I just taunted her although knowing what they would do in the cinema.
Sukanya: You are right. But I felt uncomfortable.

Sukanya: Why are you laughing so much?
Me: You don’t know what they would do in the theatre?
Sukanya: What? Watch a movie?
Me: You ask your Meena akka what all they did after she comes back.
Sukanya was silent. She must be wondering what they would do.
Sukanya: You continue with your work. You are always thinking something dirty.
She said with a mild laughter. I also laughed and ended the call.
When I returned home, she opened the door. I felt she had a naughty laughter. I got myself fresh and sat on the sofa.
Me: Darling, get me a coffee…
Just as I asked, she was already walking to the hall with a tray in her hand.
I took a coffee and took a sip. I saw a smile on her lips.
Me; So darling. What’s the news today?
Sukanya: What news? No News.
I know that her curiosity to tell is more than my curiosity to know. I stayed calm and started having my coffee.
Sukanya: Meena akka came home at 6 PM.
Me: Ok. Hope she enjoyed the movie.
Sukanya: Looks like she enjoyed.
She gave a childish giggle. Whenever I hear her giggle, I lose my heart to her.
Me: That’s nice.
Sukanya: But she looked so tired.
Me: Oh. Did she climb the stairs? Was the lift not working?
Sukanya: You are an innocent buddhu.
Me: Really? I acted along
Me: Tell me. I didn’t understand.
Sukanya: uhummm. Nothing. She was not feeling well I guess.
She was playing games with me. I did not give it.
Me: She should take some medicines. Take her to hospital if needed.
Sukanya: I’ll take her if she asks.
She was also playing tough. I just laughed and finished my coffee. She picked my cup and took it to the kitchen.
We then watched TV for a while and then had our dinner.
After dinner, I went to the bedroom and as usual eagerly waited for my wife. She finished all her work and come to the bedroom. She looked disappointed. I understood that it was because I did not react as she expected. She expected me to take the lead and get the information from her. I went near her and kissed her on the sexy cheeks. She closed her eyes and turned away. This is very common. I understood that whenever she does something uncomfortable, she closes her eyes and turns away from me. I liked that too.
Me: I knew what all they would have done baby.
Sukanya: Who?
As if she didn’t understand. But I didn’t want to prove myself smarter.
Me: Your Meena akka.
Sukanya: What could they have done? They have watched the movie. Could have had some pop corn and ice cream
Me: I don’t know about they guy, but she would have had ice cream for sure.
I said that in a naughty tone which she caught.
Sukanya: What do you mean?
Me: I mean she would have had ice cream.
Sukanya: What’s strange? Everybody has ice cream at movies.
Me: I don’t know about everyone, but you won’t have.
I said and winked. She blinked for a few seconds and then started hitting me with a pillow.
Sukanya: You dirty fellow. I enjoyed the pillow game for some time. I wanted to make use of the mood and asked.
