Don't invest too much emotions into characters. Also don't discriminate the characters. As a writer he has to give importance to certain characters which will make other ones weak.

When you decide to question the characters then start questioning everything. Not just brother character alone.


1) what the mum doing.
2) is main characters only job is to correct her.
3) does everyone disappears when main characters meet?

4) how did she get sleeping bills?

5) even a child know when he sleeps way too much.

Etc


As a story I do like it.

To those brings emotions and character assassinations, that's too much guys.

When you question characters look at the logical flaws roo..
