Next day as she reached the office she noticed there was a little panic in the office everybody was running around. As she entered her cabin Ankur approached her.
Aditi greeted and smiled
Aditi: By the way what's happening why everyone seem to be in a rush.
Ankur: you dint know?
Aditi: no...what
Ankur: well Dev is flying to America he was trying to get an appointment with a big store to sell the products which we make here and he just got the appointment.
Aditi: oh ok
And then her office phone rang. It was Dev.
Dev: can you come to my office Aditi?
Aditi: sure
As she entered her office she saw Samar was also sitting but she chose to ignore him. Dev was standing and packing his office briefcase.
Dev: Listen I am sure you know I am leaving to US. Samar here will take care of things now. Actually he was supposed to go along with me but his passport has gone for
renewal.
So you report to him now for a week. God willing if we get this order we are gone expand our business international too..
Samar: listen everything is set. You dont worry about anything here. I have finalized everything with them. You just go and sign the agreement.
Dev: that I will do.
Aditi: good luck to you Dev.
Dev: thanks a lot you just might be our lady luck.
Aditi smiled and said.
Aditi: anything else.
Dev: i guess no. So i will leave for the airport now.
And he hugged Samar and left Aditi also tried to leave the office with Dev.
Samar: Aditi just a minute.
And she stopped.
Samar: What's wrong. I am feeling that you are ignoring me?
Aditi: why do you feel like that?
Samar: since the time you entered you haven't looked at me once.
Aditi: well...listen i just...am
Samar: what r u trying to say
Aditi: listen this has to stop.
Samar: what has to stop
And he got up from his chair and started moving towards Aditi.
Aditi: Stop. Stop right there. This is what I am talking about. You are always trying to touch me with some pretext or the other. Sending me msgs and yesterday what u did. You should understand i am a married woman and you just can't flirt with me ok.
Samar was taken aback by Aditi sudden outburst. He thought to himself if he tries to push her more he may lose her forever and he should be patience and wait for the
right time . Samar said to himself I will have to change my strategy and i will have to change it now. As now i have 1 full week to achieve my goal and if i am not
able to do it in this week i probably will not be able to do it ever.
Samar: listen i am a caring person. I tend to take special care about persons i care about and i think you misunderstood me. But anyways this week is really special
week for us.
If we are able to get this deal. It will make a huge difference to us and i dont want you or me anyone distracted. So i will be thoroughly professional with you and i
expect the same from u.
Aditi was a little surprised at the sudden change
Aditi: sure. Thorough professionals. Can I go now?
Samar: yeah. For now.
