In the morning, three bodies, one of a dog and two of a human, were found in the forest. Semen was found on the thigh of the woman, the woman was banged and killed by goons; security officer thought. Goons or goon security officer dont know. It is not known how many there were. According to the security officer, this Bengali woman came with his two son to visit  sandakphu forest. because of the identity of the Gorkha watchman of their house, who was killed by goon also in Sandakpur forest.
The security officer believe that the killers must be forest poachers.

Years have passed. Subir took two sons home. Sold the Kolkata flat and moved to Delhi. The grief of losing their mother gripped the two boys. But Santu got more shock. He also talks less with his father these days. Subir knows that he has a big responsibility now. security officer investigation is going on, so sometimes he has to come to Kolkata. Subir comes to Kolkata and learns that the security officer investigated and found out that Soma had an extramarital relationship with this Watchman. security officer also arrested two poachers. They are out for lack of evidence.

Subir is supposed to return from Kolkata today. security officer want to close the case. There is no evidence of this murders. Darjeeling security officer station to Kolkata and investigating this contact, the security officer feel that there is no way to solve this case. The security officer will close the case after Subir's permission.

Subir returned from Kolkata to Delhi by evening flight. He now took a new flat instead of taking a quarter. Antu in the reading room. Santu is standing by the window in his own room. Light rain is falling outside. His eyes were deeply focused on the rain outside. He did not even look at Dad entering the house.

Subir left his clothes and freshened up and made tea for himself. He stood in front of the big picture of Soma. Once Subir used to draw art, Subir has a very good idea about art. He suddenly felt that there was a mistake somewhere in this frame. A bird should have been next to this large portrait of Soma. Yes Subir wanted to make Soma a free bird as she wanted. Subir thought to himself that he managed to free Soma.
