Very abrupt ending this time ....it was hard to believe the wife took a complete U-turn and apologized for her actions suddenly.  According to the flow of the story, it did not seem natural. Also Shazia not only cheated on her husband she seemed to have no respect for him and openly mocked him.  The only explanation for her sudden change can be that he was afraid of her image being tarnished in case the coupled separated and her affair would be out in the public.

As always, I appreciate you being the best critic to my story. I have already explained points to be considered on why such changes happened and why such an ending. The explanation that you gave is also a good addition to be considered which I missed out. It is not uncommon to find wives going astray when away from home. When it reaches to a point where their secrecy is going to be revealed in open, or when it comes to a point that she will have to face negative comments in society, they change for that reason at least. They try to cover their guilt and actions to protect their image in society. In the story, similarly, the couple were away from home. So, it can also be looked at that now when they are gone and she has to return to her life with her husband, she had to change or at least pretend to change in order to protect her image in society. I appreciate your input.
