He lifted his head and was stunned at the sight, but managed to catch the t-shirt.
"I saw you running..." she smiled and quickly stepped into the shower.
He almost choked on the food when he heard that. It took couple of minutes before he come to grip of the situation. He was caught. But she didn't seem to be angry with him. However Vineeth was feeling embarrassed and searching for an excuse to make. When she came out of shower with towel wrapped around her body, he was trying in his feeble voice to apologize. She waved her and asking him time, she went off to changer dress. The smile on her face was still there.
She returned with her official attire and came sat in front of him. Serving herself she started the conversation, “So, you ran?”
“Hmmp… I am sorry, I came to take my dress, I did not realize you were sleeping”
“Yea, I was, but why did you run… with nothing covered?” her inquisition with the giggle put him on an even more embarrassing corner.
“No, I didn’t see anything and wanted to leave immediately, the chair blocked my way and the stupid towel came off”
“Didn’t see anything? What didn’t you see?”
She caught him on his words. He was biting his tongue, his tongue slipped. “No I mean, you were sleeping and the dress was not proper, but I didn’t see anything”
“So you saw something and got rattled and that’s why you ran” she nailed him to the point.
“Sorry I didn’t intend to come there, it was freak accident”
“Come on Jamai, it is ok, relax, I am not upset with you! But it certainly felt funny when you ran with your towel in hand. You saw me and I saw you, it is balanced ok?”
“Hmm… yea, ok” Vineeth couldn’t believe how sweet she is. She didn’t make it a big deal about him watching her nudity. He was relieved and totally felt at peace.
“We’ll discuss in the evening. So, what are you going to do to impress your girlfriend?”
“You mean Kavi?”
“Hey, this is bad you said I am going to be your girlfriend”
“Oh, yea… sure, I don’t know. What should I do?”
“It is your task; do you really want me to be your girlfriend?”
“Yes, yes, of course”
“But you don’t seem to be showing any interest in girlfriend”
“How? What should I do?”
“Well, you may need to complement with nice words”
“Hmmm, you look beautiful”
“Your compliment has passion. A girlfriend expects the spark in the eyes, passion on the body language and love in the words”
“I am still learning”
“You’ve done better. You are scoring credits. By the way, what’s your plan after class?”
“I am free only”
“Can you come by 5 pm to the shopping complex next to my office? I’ve got couple of things to purchase”
“Shopping?”
“If you want a girlfriend, you have to learn to go for shopping!”
“Yeah, sure, I’ll come at 5”

Soon Sona and Vineeth left together in the car and she dropped him in his class. He couldn’t focus on the class. He was thinking all that happened in the morning. The conversation was echoing in his mind. He could see why he wasn’t getting any girlfriend so far. He needs to get out of himself and start to think in a different perspective.
Sharp at 5 Vineeth was present at the shopping complex and called Sona. Sona asked him to take a seat in the restaurant there and soon came and joined him.
As soon as he spotted her he put on a great expression and said, “Good evening, you look fabulous!”
She giggled again, “Jamai, what’s wrong with you? You’ll have to be real. I am tired from the work and you call me fabulous”
He shrank stricken by her cynical comment. He looked clueless just as every lad ever feels with woman.
“No, I mean it. You really look nice”
“Oh ok, thank you. You are sweet too you are here on time”
She ordered some juices for them and said, I am going to take you to buy something that only girls use.
“Lingerie?”
“Not exactly, I am going to buy a bra. Have you been to the woman’s section in the showroom?”
Vineeth didn’t go much to buy his own clothes much less visiting a woman’s section.
“No”
“Let’s go”
When they went to the shop and walked in the aisles of the store looking at pictures of model girls smiling in bras and showing the designs.
“You still haven’t been honest with me about what you saw in the morning”
“Do you really want to know, I thought we settled it in the morning”
“Settled? How can it be settled without you being honest?”
“Ok, I saw your … er… chest … er… that bed sheet gave away”
“Was it chest or breast?”
He was astonished at her bold question and hesitantly answered,“Breast”
“It is only a body part, isn’t it? You don’t have to be shy about it. Every girl has it and every boy knows it.”
“Yup you’re right. See even this mannequin has a nice set of breasts”
