Good opinion, although the first paragraph of the first part clearly mentions that they had an arranged marriage. I am not sure how did you come to the conclusion that Krish is from Kerala and Meera from Pune?

Hmmm... missed it somehow, thanks for pointing out.
In part 2 Das always addresses Krish as Mr. Menon and remember Meera travelling to Pune to meet her mother/family. But come to think of it, I remember somewhere Meera saying both were Malayalee. Any case they managed to screw their life.
