A - agree 100% ... conversations in stories, like in real life, are motivated by (character's)self-interest. its the primary tool for manipulation. That is why they say - actions speak louder than word ...
B - possesivness is not love ... she was possesive ... but for her he was the goldfish ... once she had him back she abandoned the goldfish - as she herself said - why would I need a namesake when I have the real Krish ... a rare moment of honesty nobody - including smug Krish - picked up on ...
C - this hypothesis about Meera's thinking sounds more and more convincing ...
