Yes it is a given..isn't that the entire plot we already knew..He acted like a changed man to get Meera but he once explained how everything for him is like an acquisition in a business deal.He calculates his every move to achieve once he sets his mind on one thing..Meera is no different...Though correction..He did not win..Winning will be getting Meera at the end..Though i think he won in splitting the couple successfully probably forever.
