She did mention to Krish that she had not fallen for Desai. About professing her love for Desai, she had been made to say these thing by Desai, she had never done it herself. The ultimate betrayal was how she was in a frame of mind to have sex with Desai after a huge fight with her husband, again humiliating him in the same manner as she humiliated him in the second part with Das.
