Roshani reached the destination quite easily and parked her car outside the bungalow where Dr Acharya lived. She really liked the carving on the wall and plants on the roof. She liked her taste in color of the wall and carving and decoration and many of which matched with her own taste. A guard was standing at the gate and she told him about her.
He guided her inside and rang the bell.
A young boy about same age as her own son opened the door.
"Namaste, Jee andar aaiye, mummy bas aa rahi hai", he welcomed and made her sit on the sofa.
He went inside and brought a glass of water for her.
Soon Dr Acharya came. She was wearing a simple saree and her hair was also loose. She admired her beauty as she came near her. She was like her in many ways.
"Good evening, Roshani", she said friendly.
Roshani was surprised as she was addressed casually like a friend.
"good evening, Dr Acharya", she said.
"No Roshani, please don't call me doctor in my home or madam, Mrs . . .” She said politely. “You can call me by my name, Vaishali”, she smiled.
“ . . . I don't take professional meetings in my house" she said with smile " my home is only for friends and family",
“thik hai Vaishali ji”, Roshani said with a smile.
“sirf Vaishali no Vaishali ji”, Vaishali smiled.
"aise achcha nai lagega . . . you are a successful and renowned doctor and I am just a simple housewife and mother . . . aapko aise naam se kaise bol sakti hun", she said not too seriously but with a polite smile.
"In case you are forgetting we already have a common friend, Deepa, aur wo mujhe mere naam se hi bulati hai”, Vaishali said.
Roshani smiled at her friendliness.
“I am also married and mother of young boy just like you ", she said " so we have a lot in common, don't we?",
"yes, wo to hai", Roshani said.
". . . and you are cheerful and funny and caring and responsible and sophisticated, those are the things, I look for in a friend, . . . not someone who wears a white coat all the time", she jokingly said.
"thank you for complements, ", Roshani simply smiled.
“aur dhire-dhire hum ek dusre ke baare me bhi jaan jayegne phir aapko mujhe mera naam lekar bulane me kio problem nai hogi", Vaishali said very friendly.
"thik hai Vaishali, jaisa tum bolo" Roshani said with a smile.
“ye hui na baat, aur aise baat karne me therapy me bhi fayda hoga, you will see”, Vaishali said.
". . . . and speaking of the therapy, I think we should start our session", She added.
"yes, you were about to tell me about the exercises",Roshani reminded.
"it's more like activities and I will tell you in a minute . . . but a few things to keep in mind during any of the processes that I am going to tell, don't put any extra pressure on Vikky and no stress of any kind. If he feels that he has to do something, it will make him extra-conscious about his condition and interfere with the process and he may feel anxiety."
She nodded.
