I think it is more the requirement of the story -in the cuckold  type stories wife is generally more promiscuous than the husband .Since most of the readers of these kind stories are males -wife adultery /infidelity is more exciting for them ,rather than husband adultery  . 

For e.g I certainly don't find Krish adventure with Parvati/Nidhi exciting and usually skip those parts .

lol agreed while we enjoy the adultery of wife in many situations yet we circle back and give moral BS on her account that's exactly what i do not like, Every one wants a chaste women to be seduced and fucked ..whole site is filled with such stories but one should stop giving names and try not to do character assassinations. Unless the story revolves around the women being bad in nature and kind of retribution for the husband.
