At this juncture, the story is equally poised for any extream eventually. It's upto writer to take a call.

I feel it's worth to explore Meera based on present situation.

I conclude the following:

1. Meera chooses her attire to please Desai as per his choice.
2. She submits to Desai in any form of sexual acts on demand to please him willingly.
3. She swallows Desai to please him.
4. She made Desai quit smoking.
5. She always made it a point to confirm that Desai is not involved with other women.
6. She is seriously concerned about his safety similar to her near and dear ones.
7. She accepted very clearly that she missed Desai in her life. Though under pressure she asked him to stay away, she utilised slightest opportunity to establish contact with him.
8. Her happiness was very clear on renewal of contact.
9. She is seeking Desai's directives on immediate intimacy with Krish.
10. She is more concerned about Desai's reputation in the event of getting caught during copulation.

For all the above behavior, Krish's cuckolness had no direct relationship.   All above only establish one factor. Meera loves Desai. The same reason made her to submit to Desai in car with all the the risks at little persuation.

For obvious reasons, she can't accept the same to Krish and was forced to lie. She had to try hard to convince Krish other way.

Meera accepted to Krish that she had fulfilled most of the dreams of Desai barring a few which she refused to divulge. Desai already expressed his desire to marry Meera which is open secret known to Krish. What are the other dreams Desai expressed to Meera which she doesn't want Krish to know?

It could be some kinky acts like sex in car etc. Considering the roll play between the couple and advance sexual extravaganza of Meera with Desai, it doesn't look believable.

Could it possible Desai expressed his desire to impregnate her? Her just concluded love making indicates to this possibility. No woman will take a risk at her fertile period when other options are available. Spoiling the car seat was a lame excuse. She knows very well that even with deep ejaculation, semen is bound to flow out of vagina, once penis is withdrawn.  Instead she could easily offer swallowing as alternative which both of them love to perform.

My conclusion:

Meera is hopelessly in love with Desai and wish to fulfill his dreams. She is confused and torn with her emotions to take decisions.

Yes. Thanks for sharing this perspective. It is all her decision now. The decision is not with Krish or with Desai. The way story will progress will be completely on meera's choices.

Few things that will go against desai are 
1. His age factor - He is way older than meera. So if meera wants to see a future with desai then this will be a major factor which she will consider. Yes she is getting all the sexual satisfaction from desai for now but will she want to have a future considering his age is something we dont know.

2. Desai's past history - He has been with many women who he got what he wanted. He has exploited them like Ananya. He destroyed Ananya/Sam's married life and used ananya for his business. Meera know this and ananya was their family friend with whom Krish and Meera spent most of their social life before. She also know how he goes behind women. Yes he has changed after getting meera but Meera knows that he can change any time. She has also expressed this to krish that they have to be careful with desai. Regarding sex and allowing him to come in her; she has done this many time and the dialogues she used are common. She has said the same with Shekar in front of krish to fill her up. Yes she is way more involved with desai compared to any of other partners but she is smart and knows all these aspects about desai. 

With krish she has a partner with whom she is exploring life and can do what ever she or krish wants. They have been thru a lot and have understood each other. They have seen breakup and how their life is without each other. With desai its only few moments of sexual pleasure and flirting. Apart from these their is nothing much Meera and Desai have done or thought about each other. The dummy marriage, desai desire to have meera as partner were all part of flirting that happened before sex. They both have not spent anytime serious time or thinking with eachother. She has already told krish to be careful and say no to Deais in professional matters when he is pushing krish. But with desai it will not be the same. He knows desai's character and how her tormented the couple in the past. She also know how manipulating he can be to achieve his goals. I feel this is one of the reason he has kept him away from her professional life by clearly saying No on any investment he wants to do in her company due to her.

So eventually it is all authors creativity and we will have to wait and see how things will unfold.
