"Tonight, maybe in the living room. I'll keep the door slightly ajar. You can watch us from the hallway."

"Sounds good. And honey, you can spend the night with him in the guest room if you want. I don't mind."

After dinner, Ayush and I got comfortable in the living room, watching a movie. The lights were switched off with most of the illumination coming from the TV screen. Ayush relaxed on the multi-seater sofa. I sat apart on the single-seater. We did some casual chit chat as we waited for Ananya, who had gone to freshen up.
