It is very tempting to add certain things to make the story stimulating, and there are many ways one can make the story further 'hot' than it currently is.

But a Kink-driven story is a shortcut to Character assassinations and plot destruction.

 When you decide that you want a particular 'sexual scene' to occur, you will purposely start putting words in the mouths of the characters; you will force the characters to do certain things and make choices regardless of what the characters are, what their values are. 

You will use your characters as tools, as plot devices to make that desired sexual activity possible for your own satisfaction. 

Once your coveted scene is done, now you can't go back. You are stuck, and to justify your characters' actions, you will bring the excuses - He/she is guilty now, confused, it was a mistake, sexual awakening,indecisiveness etc. etc.

My point is that your story is the train, and kinks are the passengers. They can only ride if they fit the plot, environment and characters; otherwise, it is a crime.

'Fan service' is a tricky matter. 

Completely agree. When authors change the story according to readers views, it leads to Character assassinations and plot destruction. Go with your plan.
