Nilanjana stopped in her tracks as she saw the young boy come over again at her doorstep.. it was like a lightening strike her.. she walked upto the door..


Nilanjana (almost roaring) : what do u want here??

Chintu retreated.. he had come in to gauge any further chances he had against her.. he had seen some heavenly flesh on exhibition and had enjoyed the feast with his eyes for some time.. he had even skipped his tutions for the sake of the enjoyment.. and this had also given him excuse away from home.. he had even clicked Nilanjana naked, lying on the bed, from various angles.. but once back home, he could not concentrate on anything.. his eyes could not see anything except naked Nilanjana.. he had dared to come over and try his lady luck once again if Nilanjana was asleep again..

Nilanjana : come here.. or i will call your mother..

Nilanjana walked to the door but this time her tone was lower, but firm and sharp.. Chintu was just round the corner and could have run away easily, but he was afraid after she got his mother in..

he looked at her and Nilanjana slowly walked upto him..

Nilanjana (now her tone hushed up as she was standing in the corridor outside her apartment) : what the heck were you doing in there?

Chintu did not speak anything but was looking down and shivering..

Nilanjana : how dare you click my photos??

Nilanjana was now loosing her cool.. she had been on the backfoot through the day.. she had done everything to help Kumkum, but Vicky had clearly planted the seed of suspicion in her sister's mind.. and circumstances and situation and her husband's betrayal in these tough times for her had helped the seed reap rich growth of weeds in her sisters mind.. she was frustrated now..

Nilanjana : where are my pics?? delete them now or..

this young chap was adding another dimension to her torment.. in due frustration, she held little Chintu's ear and twisted it and then held two crackling slaps.. one on his cheek and second landing up on his ear.. she was clearly getting out of her mind..

Chintu's ears and cheeks were beet red now..

Nilanjana : where are the pics?? how dare you?? (she was sharp and blunt in her hushed voice)..

Chintu remained quiet.. he was afraid of another one coming and his hands just defending himself.. then suddenly he broke free and ran out of reach of Nilanjana.. and ran downstairs.. Nilanjana did not make any serious efforts towards holding him again. she was feeling like crying out.. she never believed in thrashing anyone..

she looked out of the window at the end of the corridor.. she could see nothing but darkness outside.. her mind was blank and tears swelled in her eyes without making their way down.. she stood there staring at the passing vehicles on the street below.. in back of her mind she had an incident where the one lady had hit a boy for breaking her glass panes with the ball.. but the society manager had given her stern warning after the victim's mother had complained... but Chintu case was different.. 20 minutes passed..

she heard a feeble voice behind her.. it was Chintu..

Chintu : aunty.. i will complain to mom that you..

Nilanjana : look.. there is no point fighting.. we both belong to good families.. i just want you to return my ..

Chintu : what?? what will u tell my mom?

Nilanjana : pls Chintu.. dont behave like a foolish person..

Chintu : i will show the pics to my mom and ...

Nilanjana : you will not do anything like that..

Chintu : why not.. i will take them to my friends tooo.. u want to complain?? i will complain about you first..

Nilanjana suddenly felt she was on a sticky wicket before this boy.. the violent burst of anger had damaged her rather then helped her out.. and Chintu was more quick witted then her for the moment.. she tried to control the situation..

Nilanjana : see, Chintu.. u r a good boy.. u know what you did was wrong.. i am sorry for hitting you but..

Chintu : u want me to delete the pics??

Nilanjana : yes..

Chintu : ok.. then you will have to allow me to touch you before i delete them..
