Time: 3:00 PM (2 hours deadline to reach Vasu's home)
We finally reached the mechanic and I was staring to notice any differences in the surroundings. Everything was the same as before. I couldn't see Vasu anywhere outside,so she must be inside. To my utter bad luck, this auto was making too much sound and even if something was going on inside the mechanic shop, they would've plenty of time to get set and cover up. I finally gave up the chances of being the spy I wanted to be and got down from the auto. My eyes were searching for Vasu and there she is, at the same spot, on the same bench where I saw her last, I couldn't find any difference in her face or her dress or her mood. The only thing I noticed was that there no makeup on her face and my pretty faithful mind madeup a reason for itself that she must've washed her face due to sweat and dirt in travelling. I didn't even talk to her and the Lover inside me already started feeling proud that Vasu didn't do anything as expected. She stayed the same. As soon as I got down from the auto, she saw me, smiled at me, threw away her chips and started drinking water. The auto driver followed me and now, as I found Vasu, I had to find where the mechanic was.,I was stepping towards Vasu and the good guy auto driver sensed this and started calling out the mechanic.
Auto driver: "AEEEIII..!! RANGA..!! RANGAAAA!!
Ranga: aaaaaa..!!!kyaa he!!!
and he came out and saw me,
Ranga: Arey, saab!!aapne parts laaya.!!sahi time pe chotu bhi aagaya kaam pe!!aap baitiye saab.!!
As I wondered who this chotu was, a skinny dark guy came out from nowhere and gave me a 'salaam'!!
I soon remembered that this was the assistant Ranga was talking about before and I just said them to make it fast and spoke to Vasu!!
Me: What did you do these 2 hours??
Vasu: I sat here!! What else!? I tried walking and seeing around but my legs were paining. So, I sat here!! These guys brought me chips and water!!Pay them for that also!! Why did you take so long jaanu!!?????
I just pointed at the auto and she understood. The good guy auto driver handled Ranga all the parts and was examining closely that the work was done correctly hoping for some tip. I took a look at Ranga and he was still wearing the same lungi and all that. The bike got repaired in around 15-20 minutes and all this time, I hugged Vasu by her shoulder and she just kept glancing at me, the bike and everything around. Not a single word spoken!! My mind almost came to a conclusion that what i received as answers here was what actually happened. How would I know what happened!?How will I know!!?
