and woke up quite late, around 9 or 9:30 in the morning.

 
As I woke up, I checked my mobile. There was a message from Sonia –
 
“Talk to me when you get up. Missing you. Love”
 
It brought a smile on my face. I sent her a reply SMS.
 
“Good morning jaan. What are you doing? Can we talk ?”
 
After 2 mins I get a message saying – “Wait. ”
 
I got it that her hubby was with her and she wasn’t free at the moment.So I again slipped into my blanket and got lost in Sonia’s thoughts.
 
After around half an hour my phone rang. Yes, it was her.
 
I said – hello
 
Sonia – hello Mr. Champu, how are you.
 
Rohan – still calling me champu? Raat me to kuch aur keh rhi thi! (you were calling me something else in the night!)
 
SONIA- really? What was I calling you?
 
ROHAN- you don’t remember?
 
SONIA- no.
 
ROHAN- shall I remind you?
 
SONIA- sure
 
ROHAN- shall I remind you of everything we talked last night or just the name you were calling me by?
 
SONIA- shut up you, naughty boy. Just the name.
 
ROHAN- you were calling me jaanu in the night. Do you remember now?
 
SONIA- hmm. But this is daytime, not night.
 
ROHAN- ohhh.So I will have to wait until night to hear that again?
 
SONIA- well, over the phone, you will have to.
 
ROHAN- over the phone?
 
SONIA- yeah. If you talk only over the phone, you will have to wait until night.
 
ROHAN- night is too far. Tell me a way to hear it sooner

SONIA- how about in an hour?

SONIA- then get ready fast and catch an auto. You will reach in less than half an hour, as this is not rush hour.
 
ROHAN- ok. Let me get ready
 
SONIA- yes. Fast. Don’t get late. Come before 11 as my son will be back from college by 1.
 
ROHAN- ok sure.
 
SONIA- ok see you then. Bye
 
ROHAN- bye
 
I immediately got out of bed and got fresh and ready for meeting Sonia. Had some tea and left for lal bagh. There was very less traffic on the way and I reached lal bagh around 10:45. After entering lal bagh, I called her but there was no response. After 5 mins, I called her again. But still, there was no response. I was wondering why is she not picking up the phone.
 
After waiting for 15 mins, I sent her an SMS asking where she is. This time I got a reply. She said – hubby has come home along with some guests. Please wait. I was really disappointed seeing that SMS. But somehow I waited. After around 20 mins, I got her call.
 
She said – I am so sorry Rohan. I was just getting ready when my husband came out of a sudden with some guests. I had no option.
 
I said with disappointment – its ok.
 
SONIA- I am so sorry Rohan.
 
ROHAN- its ok, we will meet some other day.
 
SONIA- no, you have to meet me today itself.
 
ROHAN- but its already 11:30. You need to get ready and by the time you’ll come, it will be 12:30. We won’t have any time.
 
SONIA- hmm.Can I suggest something?
 
ROHAN- yes, tell me.
 
SONIA- why don’t you come to my home.
 
I was thrilled to hear that suggestion from her.
 
ROHAN- are you sure?
 
SONIA- yes. If you start now, you will be here before 12 and we will have full one hour to talk.
 
I said with a naughty tone.
 
ROHAN- we’ll just talk?
 
She also replied with a naughty smile –
 
SONIA- what else do you think we gonna do?
 
ROHAN- well, let me come there, I will tell you.
 
SONIA- then come fast naa. We don’t have much time.
 
ROHAN- ok, I will start now. See you soon.
