Excellent update and true to the test, no one can write conversations better than you...this update bring out more questions than answers.
In a marital world people stay true to their marriage be it sex or love. Once it gets polluted there is no going back , it will either become an addiction or mess up your feelings.In this case it messed up Meera's feelings.
Why are you all hating Meera, Her statement for too long doesn't mean her love for Desai,its about her fighting her lust and passion she had experienced with Desai long back,her need to experience it one more time, she fought that urge for two years and now Krish is getting it wrong again misunderstanding Meera's statements which will cause him to do more damage than control it. Krish thinking Meera has a place for Desai in her heart but in truth he occupies place in her head.
Since we are getting only POV from Krish we know how he feels and how he reacts and how he deals with his ghosts,but do we really know what kind of ghosts does Meera tend to in this story? She has faced the most difficult test of all times.She has experienced no married women should subject to which is the prowess of an outsider's sexual intensity and his burning passion for her. A sane husband would never let his wife be near such a man even in his dreams forget about reality.She knows Desai has given her the pleasure which no man has ever given her including her husband and she knows that right away after that night and do you guys know how hard it would be for a women to live with such a fact? How could she reveal this fact to her husband and hurt his ego. she couldn't so she did the only thing she could and that is to evade those thoughts feelings and memories from that night, she did everything she could do and she has asked for Krish's help..asked him not to be in contact with him..stay away from him...Did he? Was he able to ? No in fact he kept getting involved into Desai's games more and more and kept feeding his owns demons and brought him again and again in contact with Meera either in person or in thoughts.
Its true that Krish should still be blamed for many consequences that result in Meera's behavior though i agree that Meera's affair with her boss is uncharacteristic and out of context at that point of time.
This story is not a triangle love story and it will never be, all you readers are getting it wrong. This story is a test of battle between Love and Lust. Krish and Desai respectively are epitomes of those two words..Krish for Meera is true love and Desai for her means the peaks of lust.
Meera will be able to overcome her lust for her love but will Krish support her in this test or will he subject her to more tests and make her more weak and ultimately make her give into her lust than love.
Krish's every act from here will cause a ripple effect in their relationship..his acts will either strengthen Meera's love for him or strengthen Meera's lust for Desai. Will Krish overcome his demons or subject to it remains to be seen.
I truly believe this couple will end up together and made for each other despite their mistakes , insecurities and will have a happy ending but to get there what is the cost and how much will they lose.
Sad that this story will be taking a break at this crucial juncture. Not good, not good at all.
