He didn't wanted to live anymore. If he wanted to live than he could have gone abroad or even kill Rahul the same day he invaded his house or when Salim and his men were about to kill him. Infact he spared his life twice. A life without any motives, dreams or hope is not a life worth living.

As for the ending, no I don't agree with you. I don't like when writers milk stories just to get more replies/repps/views etc. All the characters in the story are dead and both the main characters have taken their revenge. Would it be right to introduce new characters just stretch the story further? I don't like never ending stories. Last but not least there are 15 updates and not 8-9.
