Settling back into her normal routine became hard for Ruby after that threesome with Raj and Manoj. Days tuned into weeks and weeks turned into months. She could not make out who moved into that apartment. One late evening, she took a shower and changed into her nighty, sat in front of the dressing table and started to dry her hair. The mirror was perpendicular to her window so she could not see any reflection of the window in it but when she kept her jewelry box next to the mirror, she sensed some movement in the reflection. She turned towards the window and saw that the corner on the dbangs of their her neighbor's was let go off. She at first thought it could just be the wind and continued with drying her hair but it happened a second time.  She was now certain that there is peeping tom at hand. The next day was Friday and Amit wasn't returning until that evening. Ruby wanted to investigate some more and went to the market on the next street to buy some groceries. On her way back she entered the apartment complex from the entry gate which was on the other side of her flat. She took the elevator and gotten off on her floor and started walking towards her flat. She was hoping to run into some one who lives in that other flat. She could not see anyone so she went back into the elevator and exited the building. went to the grocery store again and started walking back through the same gate again. Second time was the charm it seems for her and as soon as she got of the elevator, she ran into three young men. They were trying to move a couch into their apartment. One was well built, the second one was a little heavy for his age and the third one still had those childish looks.
The first two just started at her for a couple of seconds, smiled and said Hi. Ruby said Hi back and was about to walk towards her apartment when the third one came out of their flat, saw her and just froze. He had a guilty look on his face and suddenly Ruby remembered the peeping tom incident. Now she was absolutely certain that it was him. She pretended not to be bothered by any of this and walked away from there.
Later that night she wanted to have sex but Amit was tired and he went to bed right after dinner. Ruby was irritated and could not sleep. She came to the living room and started watching TV. She dozed off  for a bit on the couch and woke up after some time. She noticed that the peeping tom was at it again, but this time through the living room window. Ruby immediately got on to her feet , pretending to still watch TV started to stretch her body pushing her boobs forward. She stayed like that for a bit and suddenly turned towards the window and could clearly see someone trying to move away from their window.
The next day, Ruby asked Amit to get some  groceries, though she did not need any. She wanted to get to know her neighbors better and needed an opportunity. After he left, she showered and wore a transparent saree with a low cut blouse. Then she packed a few sweets in a box and went to greet her new neighbors. Her hands and legs were shivering with excitement as she walked towards their flat. She stood at their door for a few minutes contemplating her next move, whether to ring the bell or not. Finally she mustered up enough courage and rang the door bell. The fat guy opened the door. He was wearing a tshirt and shots. He froze and did not say anything turning the situation awkward. Finally Ruby smiled at him and said, "Hi, you must be my new neighbors. I am Ruby and I love on the other side of this floor. The young guy came out of his trance and said "Hi, bhabhi. I am Varun. Please come in".
Ruby smiled and walked into their flat. Clothes were everywhere and she could make out that these were college students. She gave him the sweet box and said, "Welcome to the neighborhood. Do you live alone in this flat?" Varun replied, "No, with two roommates, Rahul and Sid".
Ruby did not have anything else to say as she herself was nervous. She started looking around but kept an eye on Varun. Varun was checking her out and was trying to get a glimpse of her cleavage. She smiled to herself and said "I will get going. My husband will be back soon." She then realized that she made it obvious to him that she is there without her husband's knowledge.  Varun went inside to put the sweets in the refrigerator. Varun for some reason reminded her so much of Chotu. She remembered how his eyes used to glow when she undid her top buttons and bent over to serve him sherbet. Her body was already warm with excitement. She wanted to turn the heat up a notch. She started walking towards the door, when he came back. She put on her sandals and turned to say bye. Then she did something she would do if Chotu were there. She pretended to adjust her sandal and bent forward a bit, enough for her pallu to slide and show just a little bit of her cleavage. She quickly adjusted her pallu. looked at him once again and left. On her way back to her flat she could not help but remember Varun gulping at the sight of her cleavage.
Ruby came back to her flat, closed and door and had a cheek to cheek smile. She felt "alive" again.
