Since I have moved the time zones for the story, we will keep it the same way. Now will narrate a part of life that took place after Vicky had his fun with Paramjeet and Honey when he was setting up a branch in north of Delhi. Though the story then mentioned the year as
After some time he got smileys as a response.
2000, I am shifting goalposts to 2015 to make it more contemporary. If readers would go back in story, will find that Vicky had left from that town back for Delhi around Oct 2000 and subsequently left that company in Feb 2001.
Will change the time zones from July 2015 for this section.
After his handling of the setting up of branch office just about 50km north of Delhi, more precisely near Murthal, Vicky was this time assigned task of setting up another office, this time much far from Delhi. To be precise it was near Chandigarh, in Punjab. It was closer to Vicky’s paternal village. Vicky’s tayaji (the one where his sister stayed for her medical course in PGI, Chandigarh) lived in Panchkula, which was a bit distant from the site location near Kharar (a small town, now bustling with activity, about 20km from Chandigarh).
(My actual native villages, both paternal and maternal are near Kharar on two different roads and today have two big Universities that have come up in my villages. You can actually see that on Google maps.)
Distance from Panchkula to Kharar was not that much but still I felt I will be better off if I am putting up in Kharar only though living standards in Panchkula were far higher. A flyover construction in Kharar meant unnecessary traffic jams and considering new setup would require too many late nights etc, Vicky decided to take a company accommodation in Kharar. It was a nice society, with power back up and was close to farms. It was a 2 bhk fully furnished house for him. He kept a maid for general cleaning of the house. He had a company provided car and had all amenities associated. Given he was in Kharar, he had a lot of visitors from his maternal village. Mama, mami cousins etc. After a couple of weeks it all stopped. Nothing from paternal village since none lived there now. His Tayaji who lived in Panchkula was last to vacate the ancestral house and that too decades back. Vicky had a fleeting memory of visiting that place as a guided tour.
(In real Vicky visited the ancestral house after almost 33 years and his memory of the house structure and design was quite okay. Last visit saw a 6-7 yr old Vicky)
The first few weeks were very very hectic. It saw him coming damn late and leaving very early for office. The maid Shabana would often see lock when she would come to clean the house and in the evenings to wash utensils. She didn’t mind. Income was not deducted.
Vicky’s company had tie-ups with many colleges and incidentally it had a tie-up with a newly opened University in his paternal village. The university had opened a few years back and it was only now that Vicky came to know of it. We all know all Universities have mushroomed in North India. Since it was at his paternal village, it made him a bit emotional.
He went to his village again and met some village elders. Many of them knew his dad, tayajis etc and some knew even his Grand Father. His grandfather had died in 1960 only but was a very respected man in the village and adjoining ones and known for his honesty and integrity. Anyways, village elders felt happy that one of their own has done well in life and some were happier at prospects of possible jobs through Vicky.
So Vicky went to this University and met Director of the Engineering section. She was Dr Asha Kaur. Apart from heading the Engineering section, her family had some financial stake in the University too and was part of the co-owners group.
Vicky had nothing to do with it. He went there since he had to visit it and nothing else. Though the tie-up with his company included much more interaction with professors, students and even visits to site and visits by company guys to the College, internships etc.
The campus was just huge. It took him almost 15 minutes to reach Director’s office from the main gate. As Vicky entered her office, he liked what he saw. Dr Kaur was a big lady, about 5.8-9 in height, very sharp features, fair in complexion, hair neatly tied in a bun, wearing the traditional Punjabi Salwaar Kameez and boy she was big in critical areas. The mammaries and ass were big. Not exceptionally well shaped but big. Wide assed and big boobied is the way one can describe her. She had a nice disarming smile. Vicky and she discussed a lot of things on possible areas of convergence for them and him being from Delhi College of Engineering and FMS raised his stock. She too was no pushover having done her graduation from PEC Chandigarh and M.Tech & Ph.D from Panjab University.
So it was decided that Vicky would come and address her students in the coming week and would interact more often with college professors and students visiting his site in due course. The fact that the village was his paternal one made the tie even stronger. Vicky never knew but the Post Office in his village had an honourable mention of his Grandfather. In fact the post office was known as “aaaa” daak-khana in common parlance in the village, “aaaa” was name of his Grandpa. Vicky’s eyes got moist and his chest swelled with pride. He had heard a lot of positive things about his grandpa but this was special.
Dr Kaur’s next meeting got cancelled which meant she had ample time. Vicky liked the company and they continued on engineering topics enjoying each other’s opinion. As Vicky was about to take leave from her office, he said his favourite 3Bs
“Mam must say you have 3Bs”
She looked at him perplexed
“Beauty Brains and Bank Balance”
She laughed hysterically and escorted him to show around the college campus. It was an unscheduled one and Vicky didn’t mind. As they neared Cricket ground, he saw guys practicing in nets. The way he looked at them made her realise that he likes cricket and she asked him if he would like to practice. He could only say yes. Seeing her there, all kids were almost in attention position. Vicky got ready and started batting. Within no time everyone there realised that they are bowling to someone who knows how to play and play damn well. Asha was watching him play with a certain degree of delight. Not only academics, he is an all rounder. She smiled.
Vicky ended his stint and left after that.
In the evening he sent Asha a whatsapp message.
“Thanks ma’am. It was a pleasure meeting you, regards Vicky”
After a few minutes got response “you are most welcome Vicky”
“A special thanks for the cricket net practice”
“Special welcome” was the response
“Apologies for intruding in your family time but just wanted to thank you”
“It is ok Vicky, I too was getting bored. You know my hubby is in Canada with my son studying in AustrSonia and daughter in US”
“Have seen many MNCs but yours is a genuine MNF”
“MNF”
“Multi National Family – each member in different country”
“ha ha ha” was the response.
They continued for some more minutes
“Tum cricket achha khelte ho”
“thanks Ma’am”
“don’t call me Mam call me Asha”
“ok Mam sorry ok Asha”
“that’s better”
“if your college team is playing Cricket Match, if I am available and you permit, will be part of the team”
“Sure Vicky”
“Thanks Asha”
After a few more minutes.
“pleasure chatting with you”
“Pleasure chatting with one with 3Bs ;) “
“You naughty “
“kuchh galat kaha kya” Vicky played innocent and continued “You are a Ph.D toh brains toh hain; you are part owner of this Group toh Bank Balance bhi hai and you too know you are gorgeous”
Smileys were the only possible response and the chat session ended.
Well as agreed, Vicky went to address the group of students from engineering section. It was a half hour talk followed by question answer session. Girls were floored by his body, looks and that he was a DCE and FMS alumnus. The fact that at his age, he was entrusted with setting up a site there also added to his CV for female fans. He invited students to visit his company and see for themselves how they are building it from scratch, a special treat for civil engineering students. Dr Kaur was at the head table alongwith Vicky. She looked drop dead gorgeous in her purple satin saree with half sleeved blouse. She had let her hair loose.
As the session ended, he was surrounded by students for more information. He was genuinely surrounded and after about 10 minutes of jostling like situation, the lady in purple came to his rescue.
Vicky didn’t stay much longer in the college and had to leave for some other meeting. In the evening he remembered that he couldn’t thank the hosts properly and he sent a whatsapp to Asha
“Thanks Asha for hosting me today. Apologies jaldi mein achche se thank nahin kar saka”
“Don’t be so formal. You have great subject knowledge and you spoke very well and you had thanked me”
“Toh ek baar phir thanks kar leta hoon – it was a great session and also thanks for the personal time you spent there.”
“For me it was a learning too”
“you are being modest Asha”
“no really – you talked of the real life situations faced while setting up something new. We are not used to such case studies”
“And you looked gorgeous” he added.
“I knew that was coming”
“So the lady knew she looked stunning”
“Ladies always know”
“Want some improvement feedback”
“Sure”
“Next time don’t wear the full petticoat but tie the saree on a string on your waist, would look mouth watering”
“hmmmm” was the response.
“Also don’t hide your smooth back in deep cut blouses by letting your hair loose, tie them in a knot, French one would look great”
“hmmmmmm”
“formal trouser shirt mein kaatil lagogi”
“mere size mein kahan aayengi” she laughed at her being big sized.
“get it stitched”
“hmmmmm” was the response and chat ended.
Vicky received some semi non-veg joke and he fwded it to Asha.
After about 10 minutes he got response “joke was mast but 2 bade bachchon ki maa hoon, ladkiyon pe try karo Mr Vicky”
“That makes you all the more desirable” was the response followed by a smiley.
She ended the chat with a dozing off smiley.
After a few minutes, Vicky sent her another joke, this time slightly more naughty.
He didn’t get any response immediately but got up in the morning to a message from Asha “seems Vicky is naughty – remember I am director of a College”
“Yes Vicky is naughty since Director is a hottie” was the response.
