The thief handed a piece of bread to her. The rows of white pearls behind her red lips, glistened in the soft sun rays. The thief looked at her puerile face as she chewed. She kept a small piece of bread in her handkerchief as a memento.
She finished that bread and said to thief---“I am thirsty.”
He transmigrated himself to Unicorn and pierced the earth with his huge horn. A small fountain emerged from the earth. She drank water from the fountain.
The Unicorn was looking at her with amorous gaze.
She asked the Unicorn---“What are you looking at?”
He neighed---“I am looking at you. You are very beautiful.”
She looked away to hide her sweet blush.
The Unicorn asked her---“Do you want to fly again?”
She nodded her head “Yes”.
The Unicorn pushed her with his neck and threw her in the air.
That time the Fairy fluttered her huge wings with all her strength. She floated in the air. She outstretched her arms and glided in the air.
She screamed in joy---“I am flying, Unicorn. Thank you Unicorn.”
She looked down as she flew under the blue sky. The Unicorn trotted along with the shadow of the Fairy. She flew towards round and round over the green fields, all the day.
The sun was slipping down to the west, behind the hills. The Fairy came down and walked beside the Unicorn. She smiled and patted his neck with a gesture of gratitude. The Unicorn neighed to express his acknowledgement. The night came down. Chill winds were blowing from the mountains. Unicorn was shivering in cold.
Fairy said to the Unicorn---“We need to rest.”
The Unicorn nodded his head and sat down on the grass beside the beautiful Fairy. The Fairy covered the Unicorn under her huge wings and rested her head on his broad shoulder.
The Unicorn rubbed his face on her cheeks. He felt warmth under her huge wings.
She whispered to Unicorn---“Where do you live?”
The Unicorn pointed to the hills.
The Unicorn neighed and asked the Fairy---“Where will you go tomorrow?”
---“I have to go back to my Fairy Godmother. Tomorrow morning, I will give you the bottle of potion as a return gift of my limited freedom. It is made from her blood and bones. You have to be careful with the potion.”
He shook his head---“I don’t want that, my Beautiful Fairy.”
She looked to the hills and said---“I always dreamt of having a small hut in those hills. A small garden in front of my hut. A swing in that garden on which I can swing.”
The Unicorn nodded his head and assured her that he will build her a hut in those hills, beside the stream.
She threw her arms around his neck and said---“But my Fairy Godmother will come for me. She can smell me and the potion.”
The Unicorn neighed and wrapped his fiery white manes around her---“I will protect you with all my strength. I will take you to those high mountains and hide there.”
The Fairy felt secure in the warm embrace of his soft manes.
They closed their eyes and fell asleep.
