Then came the day.. The rainy season was now in full swing..

And the storm in the rain made the evening darker and scarier...(safe for me) As the roads & locality was almost empty. I
parked my vehicle at a distance from their bunglow. Parking is safe here in this locality and a general practice here as the
night watchman takes care.


I made sure that noone was around and then made my way inside the campus after getting a confirmation call from Rashmi.
The house seemed dark, maybe intentionally.
Rashmi had told me that things would be different today so I should not be surprised. (I could not make out what she meant to
say, though I was about to find out soon)
As she opened the door, a huge bunch of roses greeted her... She was pleased.... "Roses for a beautiful rose." - I said..
She took it and was mesmerised for a moment... I took the moment to appraise her beauty, her lips parted by the surprise she
was in on seeing the roses, her body in a sleeveless full slip satin nightie with her mangalsutra covering the top of her
cleavage. She had a speck of sindoor(vermillion) on her forhead.
I said - "Are you going to invite me in or only the roses?"

She cut off my complaint by grabbing my arm and dragging in from the doorway.
As the door closed behind and we moved inside, I noticed that she had set up a cozy table for two, complete with the
candlelight.

I felt a shiver as I saw the arrangement... The sweet aroma of the scented candles filled my nostrils..... The atmosphere
was intoxixating.... It was a place nowhere I was ever before... I place the wine which I had brought with me on the dinner
table..
The reflection of the light on her earrings caught my attention..
"The light makes those earrings sparkle," I croaked, my voice betraying how like the frog I felt, with her of course, a
princess.
She smiled warmly, though perhaps, I thought, that was the atmosphere was making me squirm.
