Days passed and it was just 2 days left before he would leave back to Dubai after his short vacation. I and Vivek were chit chatting in the living room. All of sudden Kishore rushed home with a crazy and screaming laugh and extreme happiness.
I couldn’t recognize what is going on with him. I never saw him in such happiness ever. I and Vivek puzzled looking at each other wondering why this guy rushed in with such excitement. I calmed him and asked, “Hey what happen to do you? It seems you are so much excited?”
Kishore was too happy and started speaking in gasps. “Yes Anni, I am so happy and I got happy news to share with you all. Can you both guess what it is?” He also started waving a sealed envelope with his face full of happiness. I could not guess what it would be and why he is so happy.
As my curiosity peaked out, I asked him, “Hey I cannot digest this suspense, you please open it.” He excitedly said “Anna and Anni, you know that I am passionate towards acting. I started attending auditions for many films without disclosing it to you. With the intention to reveal after once I am successful.”
“Now I got selected for one of the movies after several rounds of auditions. Now I am offered the hero position for one of the big budget films with the famous director.” I and Vivek looked at each other with shock, surprise and happy. Vivek asked, “Oh my god, did you really get a chance to act in a movie?”
Kishore enjoyed our surprise and continued, “Yes Anna, I got the offer. This is the offer letter with remuneration details.” He extended his hands to Vivek to give the envelope. At the last minute, he pulled it out without giving it to Vivek and said “Sorry Anna, I wont give it to you. Anni deserves to get this first as she stood by me and supported my passion for movies. So I am giving it to her.”
I was very happy with his statement and Vivek was also happy with it.
