Jari Järvelä has written novels, short stories, and essays, as well as plays for the stage and radio. He currently resides in Kotka, Finland, living between the ocean and a river. Naples and Marseille are his favorite cities because nothing works in them but everything works out, giving their citizens reasons to believe in miracles.
