Scene 8 – Clinic in Sharjah. Saturday 2.30 Pm…

Sanaya was sitting in front of the doctor. Doctor is examining her reports. She can see some disappointment in the face of doctor.
Where is your husband?? Doctor asked.
He went for an urgent business meeting. Sanaya replied.
Is that important than this appointment??? Doctor asked in angry tone.
It is unavoidable. He will find time to call me. I am expecting his call. Sanaya said.
Ok. Listen Sanaya. You should listen carefully. First, I don’t know why you both decided to have children at this young age? It is not my business but as a doctor we have responsibilities towards child also. You are studying. Are you planning to stop your studies???
No. I will purse my studies. Sanaya replied.
Good. Have you thought about the child condition without getting proper care of mother??? You may think that you can balance both, but the reality is different. Such children never get proper attention or care from their mother. This will affect their mental conditions. We are witnessing many children like that. Our advice for all young peoples is to try for kids after getting little maturity in life.
Doctor continues to lecture Sanaya for few more minutes.
Ok Doctor. I understand. This wasn’t planned one. Sanaya replied.
Can you call your husband??? Doctor asked.
Sanaya got little worried. Doctor, he promised to call by taking a break.
Suddenly, Sanaya received the call from Naveen.
Put the mobile in speaker mode. Doctor started scolding Naveen for his careless family planning. At the end he detailed them about the child report.
The child doesn’t have growth and almost in a dead condition. The only choice is to wait another 4-5 weeks or abort the child. Doctors suggest the abortion immediately due to danger to mother in carrying such child.
I don’t want to take any risk on her. Naveen told…
I need mother permission. Doctor said.
I don’t have any different opinion other than my husband. Sanaya replied.
Ok. I will give the tablets. She should have in night while your husband near to you. You shouldn’t have the tablet alone. understood??? Doctor asked Sanaya…
What time you will be at home Mr Naveen??
By 8 Pm.
Ok. Sanaya, you must only have after your husband arrives.

Sanaya. I will call you afterwards. Naveen disconnected the phone.
After the formalities finished, Sanaya came out of the hospital. The driver was waiting for her.
Finished madam. He asked.
Sir is waiting for meeting you. He needs something to discuss with you. Driver said.
Where is he?? Sanaya asked.
He is his alquoz warehouse.
Yes. Sanaya replied and entered the car.
She was waiting for Naveen’s call. She got his call after few minutes.
Naveen. Please don’t angry with me…Sanaya said in pleading voice.
Ok. That is not your fault. I am only worried about you. Are you ok??? Naveen said…
I am ok, it is better to not have a child now. This is very bad time for us. I don’t want to take any other tensions in my head at this point. I am only worried about you. Sanaya said.
Don’t worry about me. Saleh is moving very fast. He needs some assistance from you. Naveen said.
Yeah. Driver is taking me to his place. Sanaya said.
Ok. What about your stay tonight?? Naveen asked.
I will stay in hostel. Sanaya said…
No…I told Saleh to drop you at my friend’s place. He will do it. You will be safe with his family. Naveen said..
Naveen, I am comfortable in hostel. You don’t have to worry. I can take care of myself. Sanaya said.
Please understand my position. I must wait till tomorrow morning to call you. Do you want to put me into another trouble and tensions? If you are with that family, I can relax. His wife is a nice woman. They are very much excited to welcome you. Please don’t disobey my words. Naveen requested.
Ok Naveen. I will go but I don’t have any spare dress. Sanaya said.
Don’t worry. The driver will take you to hostel. You can collect the dress from hostel. I suggest you take more dress. My friend will drop you at Abu Dhabi bus station after two days. Naveen said.
Sanaya thought of telling Naveen about her plan to stay in Dubai until he gets bail, but she didn’t tell him. She knows that he will not allow her.

They talked for few more minutes before call get disconnected.
The car has entered a warehouse.
Sanaya felt little afraid due to an isolated area.
