Chapter 20: Ram’s Guilt
“Sudha, come with me,” Ram said and almost pulled her out of the room to the open terrace. “Ram, what is it? You are acting so weird all of a sudden? I knew you would freak out at some point in time. Here you are,” Sudha said. “Sudha, I am sorry my love, I shouldn’t have tried to make my fantasy come true, now I am feeling so guilty,” Ram said and began crying. Sudha knew that at some point in time her husband was going to freak out, but she was glad that he did not disturb her in the middle and allowed her to sleep with Black guy.
“Come Ram,” she said and hugged her husband. “It's okay, Ram, it's okay, it was your fantasy and you wanted me to enjoy the stuff and it's all over now. Okay?” she said consoling her sobbing husband. “Yeah,” he said. “Charlie is leaving India and will never come back again. Let’s forget everything happened as one bad dream and move on from here, okay?” she said. “Okay, Sudha,” Ram said. “We will casually leave home and sleep peacefully and when we wake up in the morning, we will have a wonderful day to start,” Sudha said. “Thanks Sudha, thanks for getting me out of this guilty feeling,” Ram said, breaking the hug.
“‘Sudha, come here for a moment,” the black guy called, standing near the door, ready to leave. “Ram, wait here, I will say goodbye to him and take my bra and panties back and come,” Sudha said as she was about to leave, Ram caught Sudha's hand. “Sorry Sudha,” he said again. “It's okay, Ram, nobody is perfect, everybody makes mistakes. Your mistake was to watch me sleep with a Black guy, and I was dumb enough to listen to you and sleep with a Black guy. I should have not listened to you and slept with the Black guy. But it's okay Ram, this is the first time we are trying something like this, and let this be the last okay?” Sudha said. “Okay,” Ram said. “Go bring your bra and panties back, I don’t want to see his face again,” Ram said and sent his wife. As Sudha approached the Black guy who was standing at the door, as she came closer, he entered inside and Sudha followed.
