She has a reputation plus she’s a daughter of an ACP. Guys this age are very naive who won’t keep any secrets and tarnish her reputation. Girls in colleges are also aware of this and would rather be involved with guys such as teachers and unknown guys from outside colleges who she believes will not expose theirs illicit acts. Just my observation. She is in the developing phase of her youth and sexuality and Karan is way too young, naive and hyper that he wont do any good to Namrata’s character.

The scene with the shoe repairer is also beyond eroticism. She is disgusted by his gaze but also not sure how to react to it and to tell him not to stare. This will make her more submissive in front of him eventually will fall to his advances. He can take advantage of her anyway he want in his small dirty bunker and she being submissive and curious about all these new sexual things happening to her will make him more dominant to use her full.
