Chapter 6: Love, Death & Resurrection
Inside the Taxi -
After disconnecting the phone, Anju lean back to car seat. She felt like losing the soil under her feet. She knows that Bobby told from an outsider observation but there is something happened behind her. Whether I ignored or forgive or scared to doubt? Anju has found some suspicious act of Naveen but she never took it serious. Due to blood pressure increases, she felt heaviness in head. Anju pressed her head with finger. When she looked front, she found the driver looking at her through rearview mirror. She saw a kind & worried look rather than regular staring at her body.
Madam. Are you alright? Do you want to stop somewhere in between? Driver asked.
No. I am absolutely ok. Anju said
OK madam. Driver said.
He continues to drive. Anju saw him checking in regular intervals. Anju saw a worry in his face.
You don’t worry. I am alright. You drop me as early as possible. Anju said.
Please don’t misunderstand me by looking at you through mirror. I was told by my boss that you are very special guest and should take good care. Driver said.
I misplaced by ATM card and left without money. My friend Dr. Bobby arranged this vehicle for me. Probably, Bobby is your boss friend. Anju said.
Oh!!! That’s the reason. I wondered why he was so particular about you. No wonder you become a very special guest. My boss respects Bobby and always talks about him. He was waiting for doing some favor to Bobby. So are the special friend of Bobby, I guess. Driver said with a cunning smile and excited tone.
Anju didn’t ask him about the reason for smiling but when he continues to smile. She asked.

I was working in Abu Dhabi. I transferred to Dubai in last month only. Our company has the contract for supplying cars Bobby sir’s hospital official use. My duty was to drive the car for outstation traveling of Hospital staffs. Dr. Bobby was my regular passenger. He is one of the best human being as well as a doctor, I ever met. He is a blessed doctor. That is the reason patients are standing in queue for getting his appointment. He is going vacation next month. My uncle’s daughter is suffering from heart problem, he assured to meet her and do consultation. It is not because there are no good doctors in our place but only few peoples will get the magic power like God. I believe that she will be alright after getting consulted by him. After joining the clinic belongs to same hospital chain, she heard about the staffs in her clinic admiring Bobby. Due to anger against Bobby for ruing the plans to convince her parent, she never liked the comments about him. Her aim & persistence is to become a good doctor than him. She never interested in seeking the help of Bobby for finding a job but by obeying Naveen’s word, she asked his help. Another reason was to hurt Bobby for betraying the friendship and taking advantage of her parent’s respect on him. Since her joining in the clinic, she started looking for another job due to suffocation of working in a referral job. She also felt that Bobby is taking that advantage of it.

It was colorful and happy. Slowly, you realized your love was just an infatuation.

Suddenly she got the call from Naveen.

Naveen reached Anju’s hospital 15 minutes ahead of normal pick up time. He saw Ahmed going out with foreign officials. He got a sudden idea of giving a punishment to Anju for pushing him & hitting him last night.
Naveen drove the car from the parking area of hospital to public parking area. After parking the car outside the hospital premises, he keeps an eye on all cars going in and out. He knows that she has left with no money, he want her to wait and get worried.
Earlier Naveen was called by his uncle to office, due to a claim came from CID department for submitting the supporting documents related to an ongoing investigation. Uncle took the CID officials to his auditor office. Naveen is assigned to assist auditors in submitting the relevant supporting to CID’s. Naveen’s company is handling the advertisement portfolio of Defendant Company. CID’s wanted some of the supporting accounting documentation from Naveen’s company related to doubtful entries in the defendant company. The list is handed over to auditors by security officer and Naveen job is to assist the auditors by delivering the supporting documents from office records kept in stores. Naveen was advised to stay back with auditor till the completion of investigation. When he found the process will take time to finish, he left the office by giving the reason of dropping his wife by assuring his return within 30 minutes of their call.
While waiting, he got call from his father.
Hello Father, Did you check it? Naveen asked.
Yes. She is correct. The property is in her grandfather name. There is no point in convincing her to file a case. It is better to get some money from her father. You try in that angle. Father said.
I don’t think it possible. She is stubborn, she will not ask. Naveen said.

Anju felt her legs are getting weak. She reached the flat and walked towards sofa to sit. Anju got slipped and fell on floor. Luckily she fell and sat in her legs. Anju felt her legs and bumps started pain due to hitting the floor hard. She got up with great difficulty. She can see the oil in the floor. She felt disappointed with the careless nature of Naveen. When she got up, she found the ladies hair in the floor. It was a colored hair and was sure that is not belongs to her.
Anju’s body started shivering with fear. She took the hair and walked towards kitchen to put in dustbin. When she put the hair, she found another hair wrapped around the tissue. She picks the tissue in hand. She felt little wet. She put it back. When her finger got sticky feeling, she smells her finger. She smells male semen in tissue. She went and picks the tissue again and started checking. Few parts of tissue become hard. It is male semen.
What is happened in this flat during her absence? Anju went and fell into bed. She forgets about her pain. She tried to control her emotions but could not hold for long. Tears rolled out from her eyes.
She saw Bobby calling in her mobile. She didn’t pick the call. When the mobile rings, she wiped her tears and picked the call.
