The end in my opinion is directed by the limited time writer had. He was fair enough to come back and gave a possible end to the story. The way it got stopped I thought it would be among many other in-completed stories.

Yes, we must commend the writer for coming back to finish the story....and it was an extremely long finish.

I read the end again and I must confess Anand does have some valid points for moving on. He is old and realizes that having a young married mistress with a child and husband would never be a successful venture. However, he is a bull, a hunter, has an eye for women and is in a powerful position. A heady mix for taking advantage and getting his way. So he enjoys stalking Sanjana and Vivek, enjoys Sanjana to the max and making them both want him to fuck Sanjana. Physical and cerebral pleasure!!

Having created the financial problem for Vivek and Sanjana, he had no problem in getting them out of that problem having achieved what he wanted. Both were competent in what they were doing and Sanjana had excelled in her position. No need to break the family. And having finally consummated his plan, he loses interest. There is no longer any thrill in just continuing to fuck Sanjana. A hunter needs to hunt a fleeing prey, not one that simply comes to him when he calls. Going off to Britain was just a convenient ending. Because a story needs an ending.

So I'm happy with the way the story ended.
