Arun was already holding a glass of whiskey. When he saw the waited, he gulped the remaining whiskey and called him. He kept his empty glass and took another whiskey of same brand.

Arun called the waited and put his hands on Pavithra’s shoulder and bring her closer to him. Praveen can her face getting embarrassing by his move. Praveen nodded his head and blink his eyes on her indicating her to calm down and what is happened is Ok. She gave shameful smile to Praveen. Waiter brings the tray.
Arun: Whisky, Rum, cognac.
Praveen: Cognac.
Waited served the drinks. Suddenly Arun finished his glass and took a new glass.
Arun: We should not start with half glass.
Praveen knows that he makes that as excuse in front of Pavithra to take another round.
They cheered and drink. He has already released Pavithra.
Praveen: Don’t worry. He will safe with me. You can relax and continue your discussion with your gang.
Arun: What discussion? They all might be reproving about the person in other gang or bragging about them. What else they talk?
Pavithra: I think we are better than you. At least we are discussing about different subject. You guys have only one subject. Office. In case we are compelling to speak on some other subject then politics will come. The way you guys discussing is like, If you in their place you will change the entire world. I think you guys are reproving about others than women. Only the difference is we do it about know people and you guys will do about anybody in the world.
Praveen smiled at her with an appreciation in his face. Looking at Arun face, Praveen found that he didn’t like her comments. When he started to reply to her, Praveen changed the subject. Pavithra gave a thanking smile to Praveen. Suddenly Arun was called by his boss. They can see him get introduced to someone. There was lady in the group. He saw Pavithra’s face got a small anxiety while Arun shake his hands with her for longer than normal time. When Arun released his hand, she turns towards Praveen.
Praveen: So. How long over after you guys commit suicide?
Pavithra smiled and replied.
Pavithra: 6 years. Seems you have some wrong impression about marriage?
Praveen: Well exactly nothing but being a bachelor is more fun. We can freely hit on any girl. No one will question us or stare with anxiety.

Both laughed. They saw Arun coming towards them. Praveen can see his legs getting crinkle.
Praveen: Pavithra. Take Vijay to a chair.

Arun came back to them.
Arun: Hope you both introduce each other well. I think she made you bored with her stupid humour and jokes. (He laughed with making fun of Pavithra).
Praveen: I hope you under estimate her. She got good sense of humour. Thanks for introducing her. She made my day.
Praveen saw Arun face, he didn’t like they way Praveen supported his wife same time Pavithra’s face reflect her victory as well as she got happy in her face for giving proper reply to her insult.
Arun: Pavithra.. Congratulations. I am also happy to hear something good about you.
Praveen changed topic by realizing the Arun getting offended.
Praveen: You guys made perfect pair. Husband is earning well and caring same time wife is proud about her husband. I am starving. Shall we sit in any table?
Arun: We will finish one more round and go for dinner.
Praveen: Why can’t we sit in chair and ordered the drinks?
Everyone sat together. He ordered the drinks.

While taking food, Praveen started telling about the dishes and it’s cooking style as well as fusion style.
Pavithra: Are you cooking by yourself?
Praveen: I can ask my neighbour wife to come and cook for me.

Pavithra got silent. They bring the food to table.

They had dinner together. Arun has ordered one more drink despite Pavithra’s objections.
Arun: Praveen. These women don’t know the pressure and difficulty we face in office. They are thinking that we are simply going office and enjoying whole day then coming back to home.
Praveen nodded his head to support Arun and blink his eyes on Pavithra, She smiled.
Praveen: How you guys going?
Pavithra: Taxi. What about you?
Praveen: Taxi. I prefer to use Taxi. Driving is boring for me.
Pavithra: Arun is crazy. I knew he will drink a lot. I took very difficult to make him understands.
All of three walked towards the reception. Arun walked properly for few minutes but he started lose his balance. Whish started hitting his head. Praveen holds him without fall. Pavithra felt very ashamed and looks the surrounding to find the viewers. When she finds only few people, she felt little relaxed. Praveen: He already finished his rounds. It is fully inside the Car. You understand that they are staying near to this place. We will drive them home. I will drop them and will go to washing place. The washing place at R Pump‘s owner is my friend. They are open 24 hours. Saying this Praveen called the pump and arrange for washing the car fully.
Driver: Sir. I can’t sit in the car. I need to wash before it gets dried. Otherwise the stain will be in car. I will drop you and will move.
Praveen: I understand.
Praveen gets into the car and they reached the entrance of their apartment.
Praveen: Pavithra you go to your flat. Change your dress and give me a call. Inform me if someone there on corridor.
Pavithra: No issues. I don’t want you to take trouble. I will be with you.
Praveen: This is not the time for think stupid. Please do what I say.
Driver also supported Praveen.
Driver: Madam. Sir is right. You go. I will also help him in case of requirement.
Praveen gave his number. After she left, Praveen thanked the driver for his support.
Praveen gave him 5000 Rupees. He got happy by getting that money.
Praveen: The pump is belongs to my friend. I already informed your arrival. They will clean it completely. You don’t have to pay them. If possible come back and drop me at Ulsoor Lake. Praveen gave his number and told him to call. After 10 minutes, he got the call from Pavithra.
Pavithra: Praveen. No one found in corridor.
Praveen was about to pick him but he found his dress also soaked.

Praveen: I will come now. Give me some tissue paper or used cloth for wiping him.

Praveen: I know that is going to happen moreover not comfortable in sending you with the driver while Arun is in this condition. I was worried about you.

Praveen: No need you to thank. I have to thank. For getting this much time with the lady, I am trying to impress.
Pavithra: I hope you didn’t forget about my warning of slap.( Joking tone)

She came near to him and pulls his hands covering his cheeks. Praveen holds her hand.
Praveen: Fingerprints are there?
She brings her face near to his cheek. He turns his face and gave kiss on her cheek. Pavithra got shocked but didn’t react. He showed his cheek towards her.
Praveen: One from you will ease my pain.
Praveen judged her movement by her hands. He didn’t find any pressure putting by her to release her hands.
After waiting for few seconds for her kiss, he turns towards her and pulls he pulled her hands. Pavithra came and hit on his chest. He put his hands on her back and holds her to his body. He can feel the heavy breathing from her.
Pavithra: Praveen. Please leave me. (Begging sound)
He released her.
Praveen: Please don’t get worried. I am going.
Pavithra: Coffee?
Praveen: Next time.
He left his home.
