Maine bhi ab dheere dheere uthane ka natak kiya. Aur phir maine dheere dheere apni aankhe kholi. Ankhein khulte hi maine ek dum se surprise dikhaya jaise ki main ramlal ko apne paas khada dekh ke surprise ho gayi hoon.
Ramlal was also treading very cautiously aur voh bhi yeh tadne ki koshish mein tha ki mujhe kya pata hai aur kya nahi. Maine us se poocha “tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Main kitni der tak soyi??”
Ramlal (taking a sigh of relief) Madame boss ke kamre mein saaf safai karne aaya to dekha aap sofe pe leti hui hai aur so rahi hai aur aap pasina pasina ho rahi thi. Mujhe laga jaise aapki tabiyat theek nahi hai to maine socha ki aapko bed pe le ja ke lita deta hoon par jab maine aapko uthane ki koshish ki to aap uth nahi rahi thi. Maine ek baar aapko khada bhi kiya tha aur par mujhe mein aapko utha ke andar bedroom mein le ke jane ki himmat nahi hui. Tab se main aapke liye pareshaan ho raha tha ki aap kab uthengi. time dekho ghar jane ka time ho gaya hai. main abhi aap ke liye chai le ke aata hoon aap chai pee ke fresh ho jaayengi.
Maine haan mein sir hila diya. As soon as ramlal left the cabin I took a sigh of relief. I immediately went to the toilet to freshen up. I loosened my saree and tied it again neatly and washed my face. I came out and waited for ramlal.
Ramlal came immediately with a copy of tea and was looking very relieved. I was feeling very awkward in front of ramlal as I had allowed him so many liberties a while ago. I could not help notice his hands when they were handing me over the tea and I was very conscious as to not touch his hands while taking the cup of tea from him and I kept the cup on the side table. Without any warning ramlal touched my forehead.
Ramlal: madame aapko lagta hai thoda thoda bukhaar hai. aapka shareer to garam hai.
Saying this he started feeling rubbing his hands over my face and neck with the back of his hand as if to check my temperature and then he held my wrists with his hands.
Ramlal: you have slight fever I guess. Aapka pura shareer garam hai.
