A very well written story - kudos to the author.
Although the plot is a little far fetched, the characterization and descriptions are spot on.
Loved the transformation of Alisha - seemed like Tolstoy like treatment.
Hated the brutal beating scene - but that was part of the character's insecure nature arising from a loveless childhood.
All in all - a nice human interest story.
