Well I had already said, we each can have our own versions of the story either in the writing or in our fantasy - let the author tell his side of story and in the end we all can dissect it the way we want. Sure the story has turned into a melodrama type TV serial/movie. In reality Prabu's wife could take such step that too during 80s period; is farfetched I suppose and Prabu just becoming coward n care more for the adopted child n wife(non working) - whom he betrayed just like that.
For me - it is the author who has to satisfy us (the readers) - our constant demand - and he is strapped of time so he is not allowed to really sink in and bring out the jewels all the time. I feel if he had (therotically) unlimited time - he might have come up with much better story line. Not criticizing him, but he should give ample thoughts for complex stories such as this one.
