I just want a reiterate a great quote by Chinua Achebe

"I believe myself that a good writer doesn’t really need to be told anything except to keep at it."

Please think about this when ever you want to quit writing an unfinished story.

 
There used to some readers who regularly encouraged me to write the story. Now they don't.

The story was not gaining any new readers moreover it has lost a handful of old readers who used to comment.

Hence I came to that conclusion of quitting.

The problem is I am writing a story which I want to read. I don't write to please readers, there I have just said it. Hence the story does not have many readers.
But on the other hand, I do want many readers to read the story.     . And I can't have both. That is the dilemma.
