She leaned in closer to whisper to him.

"'Why there,' you might ask if you could speak right now? Well, don't tell the Detective Inspector over there, but do you know Mander? Nigel Mander, but he just goes by Mander. He knew you, didn't care for you. And you're still alive, so you two have probably never met. Well, Mander's a friend of mine and he's also got a number of old friends doing time in Belmarsh. And you should've heard how happy they were when he told them that a big, famous, Nazi legacy like Heinrich Dietz is coming to join them. I'm told they'll let you live to see trial like the DI wants. Afrer that, though, I don't like your chances."

She stepped back.

"Well, I've got a plane waiting for me, so I can't stay. You'll still be here when I get back, but if you're well enough, you might also get a visit from the young man who helped us identify you. Don't worry, he's been told not to harm your throat. And the Prefect will be here to make sure nothing too damaging happens. Ciao."

Helen left the room. Mander had been leaning against a wall outside and joined her on her walk to the elevator.

"So, with me mates taking care of Dietz, that leaves us tied at 5-5." He said. "The big one's obviously yours, so the tally's already decided."

"The Nazi Hunt's just expanded." Helen replied as the doors opened. "He's bound to have more guys and we don't know what we'll find in Kansas yet." The doors closed and Helen hit the button for the ground-level helipad where her helicopter was waiting to take them to the airport. "It's not likely that Schell's going to turn out to live across the street. This ride isn't over yet."
