The Unwanted Houseguest Ch 29.

The whole day, I kept expecting Kavi to call me and ask why I had left without having breakfast or informing her. I kept waiting for the phone to ring. But Kavi never called. I tried to focus on work and got quite a bit of work done at the office.

That evening, as I was about to step out of office, my mobile rang. I took it out of my pocket and saw Amir’s name flashing across the screem and immediately felt disappointed. But too scared to ignore the call, I answered it.

“P.B. I am at the bus stand near your office. Come pick me up from here. I’ve got to go someplace.”, he growled over the phone.

I drove over to the bus stop and there he was, standing among the other passengers at the bus stop, chatting with a group of girls at the bus stop. As he saw my car, he waved goodbye to them and smilingly walked towards my car. At least he seems to be in a good mood, I thought.

Presently he entered the car and sat in the passenger seat next to me. He moved sideways and I thought he was trying to find the seatbelt. But I was wrong

Phattt!

Before I could register what was happening, Amir had given me a powerful slap. Holding my reddening cheek in one palm, I look at him through scared eyes.Out of the corner of my eyes, I could see that the sound of the slap had even been heard by the passengers at the bus stand and now some of them were craning their necks to make sense of what was happening in the car.

“How dare you walk out in the morning without making us breakfast, you little bitch?” Amir questioned.

“Kavi had to do all the work in the kitchen. You should remember your place as our slave, P.B. This is all your job to do. Pretty soon, you will have to take care of the babies that I put in Kavai’s belly as well. Do you understand?”

Although I had gotten slapped really badly, I smiled inside thinking that Amir had no clue that Kavi was using birth control pills. With that thought, I nodded meekly at Amir’s question.

“Now drive. We need to go to the bar near your house.”

As I drove, I was reminded of Kavi’s and Amir’s conversation from the morning. They had talked about someone else getting invited. Were Amir and Kavi planning to have another drinking session today? Would someone else be joining them?
