Chapter 41
Sheelu sent me a smiley immediately to acknowledge my message. But there was nothing else.
I sat back and tried to relax. My heartbeats were heavier. Having sex with an elder woman wasn't my worry. But the reason behind it was. I was about to have sex with a widow to avenge her late husband's betrayal. The fact that I had a clear role in his betrayal could just leave me sleepless. What if she comes to know of the truth afterwards? I was feeling myself dishonest. Shouldn't I confess?
Three days I ate these types of thoughts only.
On the fourth day I was with Meera at a shopping mall for groceries, when I bumped on to Sheelu.
She gazed at me for a fraction of a second before turning her complete attention to Meera.
"Hi Meera!"
Meera was pleased to see her. They talked like close friends while I chose to play a statue. Sheelu seemed at ease with Meera and it actually surprised me.
She might have got some solace herself once I agreed to help her get her 'redemption', I thought. May be she might have changed her mind. May be she might have forgiven my wife.
But all my thoughts and hope were proved wrong in a matter of ten minutes.
"Would you mind if I borrow your dear hubby, my friend for this evening, Meera? It'll be helpful if he is there for me when they arrive.."
I heard Sheelu asking Meera. She winked at me when she spoke.
"Oh, sure, why not? Actually I won't bother if you take him right now, if you want. I'm done most of shopping, I can handle it myself.."
Meera was polite. And kind. And generous. And a fool. For now.
How times change.
I suddenly remembered a night.
A night, when a husband stood in the darkness of a kitchen store, leaving his wife alone in the company of a man, believing his wife would guard herself, fearing what would happen if she fails to do so. I remembered me. A clueless, stupid me.
Here my wife was leaving me in the company of a woman whom her husband had no plan to stop, knowing nothing. She was equally clueless.
How times change.
"That's so nice of you guys. I don't know how to thank you guys for your support."
Sheelu grabbed her hand. Then turned to me and extended her hand to me. I couldn't help but gave in. It was the first ever forced touch from my side to her. I mean I forcing myself to touch her.
I suddenly felt a rush within my body. My heartbeats were on a rise. I was getting excited when she lead me away from my wife. By the time I reached the parking space and sat inside her car, I was carrying a boner.
"Let's go?"
She looked at me. I saw a woman in command there. Her eyes would burn me.
"Let's go" I said.
