When she drifted in to her dreams she didn't even remembered... waking up only to the bird's singing sounds. It was a beautiful morning...the sun peeking through the clouds...the cold breeze filling her room and there she was lying on her plush bed.
Soon Balwant came to her thoughts...he was Going to take her to a tour. Her shivered at the thought of it.
"God why did I do that ? Fuckk." She said out loud to herself.
"How am going to hold up if he makes a move. Shit." She Whispered.
With passing hour there were butterflies all over her body. She was breathing hard. She had the breakfast and moved back in her room. It was already 1:00. He was close.
She decided to keep things in control and to behave herself. She wore a beautiful Kurti and red leggings underneath it. And a red viel on her. She looked at her in the mirror. She looked decent and all covered...but still there was some doubts in her head.
"Ohhh God...why haven't I go for shopping before coming here..I wish this kurti had been somewhat longer and baggy. The dress fit her well...skin tight.
He was on time. And Kasturi left with him.
She held her head down trying to look calm and composed and avoid his piercing gaze. Balwant too didn't pushed her much. He gave her a tour of the village and showed him his Grandpa's property as well. There were mostly farming lands and nothing much to see about them. They were talking all casual and decent. Kasturi was relieved that it wasn't going around in the wrong direction.
"Does grandpa ondy has farms... haven't he invested in anything else ?" She questioned.
"Yeah..that right. He has thrice the farming land that I have." He said chucking.
"Ohhh wait... there you see...that our cold storage...it is the evidence of your grandpa and my friendship." Balwant said pointing at the facility.
"Ohhh...Good. but why did you guys parted out in the first place." She asked him.
"Its a long story...and a boring one too...You still want to hear it." He made an execuse.
"I have all the time...I want to know what happened. And I also want to see what you have earned." She replied back.
"Okay...I will tell you that and show you what i have as well." He replied back and took a turn opposite their village... Kasturi had no idea of it.
"For the starters That was our cold storage. And there is a few acres in my name over there he pointed out in a direction." He kicked off his story.
"I was 14 and your Grandpa were 26 when I met him. I was a orphan and he took care of me...he gave me shelter at his house and I started working with him...at that time we had no land of ourselves and we used to work at someone's elses property." He narrated.
"Yes...then." she replied her ears all glued on the story.
"It was about time our luck turned upside down. Once when I was working with him. I was digging in and I found a mud pot burried underneath it. I showed it to your grandpa and took it out of there. It was full of gold coins. We looked around and there were only two of us...and we did what any one would have done..." He continued.
"Your grandpa was reluctant to give me any share out of it but when I threatened him...he had to spare something for me as well...and I got 1/5th share. As I was a child and he had a big family and sisters to marry. I was happy with my share. But you Grandpa wasn't much pleased about it. And with time he threw me out of his house. I was on myself once again...and I started out...I had no hard feelings for him." He progressed.
"When I was 21. Your grandpa's sister came to see him. She was 14 Year older than me and married...she was beautiful. I would be lying if I say...I didn't liked her. But I had no other feeling...I used to be very thin at that time and barely stood a chance against her... but I she did what she wanted...you know what I mean." He added.
"But nobody knew about it till date except you now. It was all going cool between us too. Your grandpa made it big while I saved mine. I had purchased a small land and was satisfied with it. About ten years later...Your grandpa despite being married fell in love with a beautiful girl whom I was already dating...and had confessed my love to her. When he came to know about it...he came with his men to warn me about...and threatened to kill me. He ordered me to go out of this village...but I stood for myself and even had a fight with him. None of the men dared to come to his rescue...As i was a total maniac bad boy of the village. We fought hard...even though your grandpa was getting old he was a real tough nut to crack." He added.
"Yes then." She asked...the car had pulled into to a fenced area now.
"Then he went straight to threaten that beautiful girl...she was all shivering and sobbing when I met her. I was all blazing with anger...i was going to take revenge...but she stopped me and showered her love on me... calming me down...in her arms. Two days after that I married her in secrecy. Your grandpa had to give up eventually." He replied. Getting out of the car now.
Kasturi too had stepped down. He took her hand in his and showed her the way ahead.
"And then everything settled down...she came as a bliss on my world and made good use of the remaining gold I had saved after all these years. We created our small world out of it. It was all her idea to purchase different lands and asked me to meet different powerful men to realise our dreams...all of them turned out beautiful. I had completely separated ourselves from your grandpa...but when she heard he was planning to set up a cold storage facility she went all the way defying my orders to meet him...and what you saw was the symbol of it. Although everything had settled down...but still in all these years there was a sense of enmity between us two which I am glad is no longer anymore thanks to you." He replied smiling at her.
"Uncle please forgive him...i am happy for both of you. I would love to meet your wife though." Kasturi replied.
"She lives in the city with his son. She says she will not comeback here." He replied smiling.
"Ohhh...I am so sorry. How many children do you have uncle ?" She asked in innocence.
"Thats a trick question...I have two boys of my own and thirteen apart from them." He replied smirking.
"What do you mean apart from your own...?" She enquired further.
"Woman don't you know how babies are made ?" He replied back his face stern.
Kasturi held her head down in shame.
"But since you asked...I have 10 children playing in this village and 3 other in making." He replied looking away.

"What do you mean 3 in making ?" She didn't even realised when that escaped her mouth.

"Yes with two women...One is pregnant with twins." He replied winking at her.
