Friday I got a call from Mr Das.
"I've pulled ahead of Samay Madhav. Very nicely. I'm feeling really good about this!"
He was happy.
He had contacted Mr Desai, Samay's boss who sent him on a tour for three days.
This was great news for me as well.
"So the other guy is gone. Meera can be mine, if I play it right, right?"
He asked.
That was not so great news for me.
"What's your plan?"
"What plan. I will stay with her during the party. I'll get her drunk. Offer to drop her home. And hopefully, I'll drop my seeds into her!"

For him, the plan was very basic.
"You know I won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about tomorrow night!"
I could imagine how horny he was.
"I'll be carrying a boner from now itself."

I wasn't feeling even close. I felt I would have enjoyed it if I was not alone. The fact that Meera wasn't with me made me restless. I had a feeling that Meera is moving away from me with each passing moment. I lived the rest of that Friday with a single question played in my mind.
