Chapter 9
Regret. I was filled with regret, after Saturday. I had enjoyed it with her. I felt like I've lost my power to stop or claim my wife back anymore. I Felt like shit throughout the weekend. I remained at home. My dick was like a dead snake.
I felt like Ananya's claims could be true. But giving up her to Sam was never an option.
However, a couple of days later, I knew the reality. It was against me.
I was sitting with Mr.Das on our regular table, in the bar.
"How's life in your office, and your dream girl?"
I asked. We had discussed nothing about her in our previous sitting.
"There's some glitch, buddy."
Das wasn't much happy to reply.
"There's a man, one Samay Madhav in her life. He's after Meera. Last Thursday she had left office earlier with him, and this Thursday she again went earlier. I asked her about it when she was leaving. She said she's going to meet a friend. I smelt something foul and I sent one of my security guards after them. He found out that they went to have a coffee in a CCD. And they spent there around an hour talking to each other. It was a date, man, it sounds like that to me."
I sat listening, trying hard not to make any abnormal move.
Samay Madhav was the real name of Sam.
