There was indeed no trouble for next one month. Nupur found it's easier than she thought. Beginning of every week, she will tell Virat her schedule for the week. Virat in turn informed Tony and Tony will give him few packets. Those packets were always small, sealed in thick envelope with no address written over it. Along with packet, he also gave required mobile numbers that she will call after she reaches destination city. The guy (According to Tony his agent) will respond and collect the pack from airport exit gate. That was all she needed to do.
And tony was very particular about payment. Just as promised, he will give full advance when he handed Virat the packs. What's more, often he will pay much more than promised 7k per pack.
"Brother, I pass cut whenever I make extra profit. I am a honest man." ANd VIrat beleived it.
Nupur was tensed initially, but after few sorties, she got used to it. Airport security hardly checked air hostess crew and she was no exception. No one ever asked her any question about the packs.
That's why she was surprised, when during one afternoon flight, she found airport security much more agitated and scrutinizing each passenger minutely.
"Must be some bomb threat" her collegue Nikita whispered in her ear.
But Nupur didn't think so. She was much more senior than Nikita to know that that guy in white uniform belonged to customs and he wont be present for anything related to bomb threat. That was not his job. It must something to do with smuggling. Nikhil told her once that those folks usually get information about smuggling deals beforehand and than catch passenger red handed during security check.
Only, she didn't beleive she was the target. After all she was only carrying medicine, not some smuggling good. And as Virat said, she can always say it's for personal use. In worst case they will confiscate it and she has to submit a written explanation letter, that's all.
In any case, her bag has already gone under scanner and she can't turn back.
The CISF guy who was checking the scanner got up and whispered something to white uniform's ear. He listened attentively and than instructed something back. Than he walked away, with 2 CISF guys following him - there was a luggage wbangd in clothe with them.
The security check line was closed temporarily and ground staff struggled to convince irritated passengers that security gate will open up soon.
"Shit yaar ... now they will make us stand in queue for 1 hour and than say nothing was found!" Nikita said irritated. Nupur was going to reply, but just than someone tapped on her shoulder.
Startled Nupur turned back. It was one of the CISF jawans who were carrying the box.
"Nupur madam aap ho?" The jawan asked.
"ha" Nupur answered, her throat was getting dry. It can't be ...
"Aap mere saath aao. Duty manager calling" The jawan said briskly.
"Why?" Nupur asked, but the jawan just nodded his head "I dont know madam. Aap jaldi aao mere saath"
"Go see what's it Chiku ... I will keep your place in queue, come back fast" Nikita yelled, as Nupur started walking with the jawan.
