When saravanan came to know that meera has cheated him and lost her chaste to prabu, he is completely punished. There cannot be a big punishment than this for a man who is highly respected in a society.

Again, he took a bad decision to continue life with her. But, Prabu has already taken her completely in those short time of affair and she cannot forget him and fallen in deep love with him. She tries but cannot be a good wife to saravanan. Now, both lost their mental peace in life.

Its now nearly 10 years since they married and she had been a good wife in his hurdles for 7 years. So, Saravanan wants to do something good for her to make her happy for those years that she supported him. The only thing that can give her happiness is Prabu. He can only thank her for those 7 years and ask her to move with Prabu and live happily. He cannot face his relatives/people of village after this. Nobody will come forward to marry a person with two children. So only choice left for him is to end his life with two children or move out of that town and be a single parent for rest of his life. Waiting to see how author takes this forward. Fingers crossed.
