Introduction and Motivation:
Hello everyone, I am Shaily Singh, a female sophomore here at FID. This manifesto is regarding my Intense Nudity Routine that I wish to undertake for the next couple of months here at FID. This document is intended to elaborate the motivation, requirements and conditions for my nudity routine. Readers of this document are requested to read this completely and approach either Mr. Farooq, respected Dean at FID or Professor ShashiLekha, Alternative Dramatics Department in case of any queries or concerns.
I'm sure most of you know that FID has received a participation invitation for the Belgium Dramatics Festival that is going to be held in Brussels in a couple of months. While FID has received many international invitations, the Belgium Dramatics Festival is the biggest stage of all, which houses about 1000 plays with participations from all across the globe. It is a matter of great pride and integrity that FID has been selected by the 'Fine Arts Assoc' of Belgium to be the only Indian entry to the festival. Traditionally, the Belgium Dramatics Festival is considered to be the biggest and the most extravagant Dramatics Festival which is an exhibition of talent, fortitude and aesthetic sense over a period of 5 days from December 21st - 27th. It is the first time that the 'Fine Arts Assoc' of Belgium has invited FID to perform at their event and I feel extremely happy and privileged to inform all of you that Prof Lekha has chosen me along with some of my peers to perform the play called 'Naked soul doesn't lie' at the event. As a child of FID, I consider it is my responsibility that I show nothing but my absolute best in the play and bring the much deserved glory and recognition for FID.
The Belgium Dramatics Festival is a very prestigious Dramatics event that is attended by millions of Theatre lovers from all over the world. Part of the grandeur of the festival is because the plays being showcased range in variety, genre and aesthetic appeal that is bound to attract all kinds of Theatre lovers. The festival is also known to be extremely liberal in its rules and regulations as they rightly understand that Art is only beautiful when there are no restrictions and rules in place and they believe that Art is conveyed with an absolute sense of artistic liberty offered to the participants.
The play 'Naked soul doesn't lie' is at its heart a very emotional portrayal of a 20-something woman, a character that we can all relate to. While the role of the female protagonist is played by my classmate and very close friend, I will be playing the role of her naked soul in the play. To convey the idea in the most artistic way, the play requires that the female protagonist's naked soul be naked throughout the play. I take great honour and pride to inform that I have been chosen to play the role of the naked soul in 'Naked soul doesn't lie'. While the storyline of the play is beyond the bounds of this document, I will be happy to share the script with anyone who is interested to know about 'Naked soul doesn't lie'; please feel free to reach out to me personally.
I was brought into this world naked, like all of us, but after that moment, for the next 23 years, I have always been clothed. Like all of us, I have been trained by the society to hide my body, especially my private parts from others by wearing appropriate clothing all the time. But now, for the first time in my life, I have chosen to shed all my clothing because I want to showcase to the world what real art is through 'Naked soul doesn't lie'. I don't mind informing to you all that it was a really tough decision for me to take the role of the naked soul in the play. It really was. But like all of you, I am a die-hard proponent of artistic liberty, and the more I thought about how my naked body was going to add value to the play, the more it made sense that I shed all my fears and reservations along with my clothes, so that the world can see a brilliant piece of Art. Indeed, it is my honour to be a part of a play that is so soulful and meaningful in its intent, and I cannot be more happy to be naked in front of millions of people in such a public forum, which brings me to the motivation behind my Intense Nudity Routine.
They say 'Charity beings at home' and I certainly consider FID to be my home, and all of you as my family. Through this document, I wish to ask you all for a favour to make 'Naked soul doesn't lie' a success. Like I outlined above, I have been trained to be always clothed and hide my private parts in front of others, but now, I need help from my family here at FID to help train me to be naked in front of millions of people from all over the world on the big stage. Towards that, I propose that I wish to be naked in the college premises at all times in front of all of you, until I leave for the Belgium Dramatics Festival. This is the Intense Nudity Routine that I wish to follow so that I will be comfortable enough in being naked for 'Naked soul doesn't lie' on the big stage.
I know that my nudity at all times in the college premises might be troublesome and intrusive to some of you, but I humbly request you to put FID's reputation before your personal discomfort at this point. It is absolutely essential for me to do my best in 'Naked soul doesn't lie' in the Belgium Dramatics Festival so that FID gets the much deserved recognition and fame in such a grand arena, and for that I would need all your co-operation so that I can get enough nudity practice before I get naked on the main stage for the play. I hope this is not much to ask for from all of you.
Having talked about the motivation behind my Intense Nudity Routine, I would now like to outline some terms and conditions for the same.
Terms and Conditions:
- I will have nothing on my body in the college premises at all times, with the exception of footwear.
- I will always carry tissues with me in some form or the other to avoid any leaking of my internal body fluids.
- I will always be clean, hygienic and professional at all times in the college premises.
- I will always wash my private parts (my breasts, my vagina and my behind, including all the orifices in my body) thoroughly whenever I use the restroom inside the college premises.
- I will not use my naked body to derive any kind of preferential treatment from the working staff, peers, or the Professors at FID.
- I will not participate in any unprofessional, vulgar or obscene behaviour on account of my nudity in FID.
- I will be open to receiving any sort of professional as well as personal appreciation and criticism on my body parts from the working staff, peers and the Professors at FID as it will help me do my best for 'Naked soul doesn't lie'.
- I will not cover any of my private parts with any external material or using other body parts while I am naked in college. However, this only appears in a normal scenario where there is no digital equipment around. For eg. I will be inclined to cover my pussy with either my hand or any other material if someone is clicking a photo or a video of me.
- I will be equally functional, productive and engaging with everyone at FID as I was when clothed.
* Please report immediately to Mr. Farooq or Prof Lekha if you see me violate any of the terms and conditions mentioned above in any way along with suitable photographic and/or video evidence.
Epilogue:
So, to my family at FID, I humbly request you all to approve my Intense Nudity Routine keeping in mind the future of FID. I would be forever indebted to every single one of you and request you to allow me to be naked in college at all times. I wish to receive your kind co-operation for my nudity practice that would ensure 'Naked soul doesn't lie' becomes a huge success at the Belgium Dramatics Festival.
