Here are some of my guesses-

Possibility 1. Rajeev is watching them over the stairs and is shocked - Paati misunderstands he's jealous and warns him! He's sitting downstairs looking into Malli's messages desperately. Then Malli has a point to prove her husband is not indecent.
Possibility 2. Rajeev is super annoyed reading Malli's message and wants to go and bang their door. But he wants to observe them. So instead of using door keyhole, he comes in through balcony to find the scene.
Possibility 3: He walks outside the house and calls his wife on phone, asks her to explain the message - that's when she playfully teases him more. He's aroused and angry at the same time.
Possibility 4: Malli herself wants to test how far this game of Gowtham is going in. After all she's interested in his closeness too.. So she wants to play along and says to Gowtham, then lets level this up and play a more serious - she says she'll tease Rajeev herself by dropping off her bra when he comes - just like how she did it in the video call.

My guess...

Rajeev confronts Gautham, even slapping him and dragging Malli back to their room. He then lashes out at his wife for crossing the line.

Malli fights back, saying, "You just ruined Gautham's birthday vibe! You mentioned having a cuckold fantasy, and to make you happy, I went along with it. Gautham is innocent!"
