Adultery A Husband and Wife’s Playful Texts Turn Into a Complicated Affair [COMPLETED]
Chapter 159 - The Marriage & Nikkitha's decision

Jay and Nikkitha got married again in a simple, quiet ceremony at the registration office. There were no grand decorations, no excited family members — just the two of them, a registrar, and a couple of witnesses. It was quick, formal, and strangely intimate.

Even though their marriage was built on a fake foundation, Nikkitha felt a surprising sense of contentment wash over her as they stepped out of the office. For the first time in a long while, she allowed herself to breathe.

This feels… right, she thought.

Being with Jay again felt like a beautiful bonus she didn’t fully deserve. She was strangely happy with how things had turned out. This was exactly the kind of life she had once honestly wished for — peaceful mornings where she woke up to the smell of coffee, quiet evenings spent talking about nothing and everything, and the deep sense of belonging that came from being with someone who genuinely cared for her and when its Jay, whom she loved the most, what else she want?.

Jay looked at her differently now. His touches were gentler, his eyes softer, and his presence more protective. Every time he rested his hand on her still-flat belly, something warm bloomed inside her chest. She loved the way he fussed over her, the way he made space for her in his home and in his life without asking for anything in return.

But Nikkitha wasn’t naive. She constantly reminded herself that this was temporary.

Deep down, she still planned to move to a different city after a few years — once the baby was older, once the assets were fully secured, and once she felt she had repaid Jay enough. She didn’t want to trap him forever in this complicated mess she had created. She believed he deserved someone simpler, someone who wouldn’t keep dragging him through pain and uncertainty.

For now, though, she decided to simply enjoy the time she had with him. She would savor every peaceful morning, every caring gesture, and every stolen moment of warmth. She would let herself feel loved, even if she didn’t fully believe she had the right to stay.

Months passed in a quiet rhythm.

Jay took excellent care of Nikkitha throughout her pregnancy. He was always one step ahead — preparing nutritious meals, making sure she took her vitamins on time, gently massaging her swollen feet after long days, and staying awake with her through nights when she couldn’t sleep. He read parenting books in secret and decorated the nursery with soft, soothing colors. His devotion was sincere, steady, and deeply touching. He had become almost like a mother hen — protective, attentive, and endlessly patient.

Nikkitha enjoyed every bit of it. She loved the way he looked at her growing belly with quiet wonder, the way his hand would rest there protectively as they watched TV, and the gentle kisses he placed on her temple without expecting anything in return. But she never fully showed how much it meant to her. She was terrified of giving him false hope. Every time her heart fluttered at his touch, she reminded herself that this marriage was supposed to be temporary.

Yet, in the silence of the night, her true feelings slipped through.

Some nights, when Jay was fast asleep, she would quietly lean over him, her heart beating loudly in her chest. She’d press the softest kiss on his cheek or forehead, letting her lips linger as she breathed in his scent. Other times, she would slowly slip into his warm embrace, molding her body against his and pretending it had happened “accidentally” in her sleep. She cherished those stolen moments — the safety of his arms, the steady beat of his heart against her cheek, the way his body instinctively pulled her closer even in deep sleep. In those quiet hours, she allowed herself to feel loved without guilt.

Meanwhile, Tharun continued visiting Bangalore even after his transfer to Cochin. Every few weeks, he would message her, and they would meet for a quiet lunch at his flat. He always came prepared — bringing the latest pregnancy supplements, comfortable maternity clothes, or special snacks he thought she might crave. Over time, he slowly adapted to her changing needs, learning what made her comfortable and what tired her out.

Their physical intimacy had reduced drastically. What used to be passionate, hungry encounters had softened into something gentler — just a few deep kisses at first, then only tender ones on the forehead. Nikkitha never denied him those kisses. She knew how much Tharun still needed her emotional presence. A heavy sense of obligation weighed on her heart; after all, she was the one who had pushed him into a loveless marriage with Mithra. She felt responsible for his pain, and these small moments of affection felt like the least she could offer him.

But every time Tharun’s lips touched her forehead, a quiet guilt twisted inside her. She was giving pieces of herself to two men — one who loved her openly and selflessly, and another she had unintentionally bound to her through promises and circumstances.

In the middle of all this emotional complexity, Nikkitha found herself walking a delicate tightrope — cherishing Jay’s love in secret while trying to gently set Tharun free.

Chapter 160 - Nikkitha decides who is the Father.

The day of the delivery finally arrived. Jay paced anxiously outside the labor ward. Tharun had also shown up at the hospital. The two men barely spoke to each other. Sharmi arrived after Jay called her. She was only learning the full truth that day — they had cut contact after Nikkitha got pregnant.

Sharmi didn’t hold back. She smacked Jay on the back and scolded him. “You still love her, don’t you?”
“I never stopped,” Jay admitted quietly.

Sharmi sighed. “One cannot straighten a dog’s tail.”
She had waited patiently for him all this time, but seeing the situation made her furious.

The moment she spotted Tharun, her rage boiled over. “What the hell is this?” she snapped, pointing at him. “You married her again, and he’s still hanging around?”

Jay replied calmly, “Just like how you’re here for me, he’s here for her.”
“We are not the same!” Sharmi shot back. “I never broke your marriage. He did. You shouldn’t be entertaining this.”

“Nikkitha knows what she’s doing,” Jay said. “She’ll stop him once Tharun and Mithra truly become a couple. He’ll stop by himself too.”

Sharmi shook her head. “Sorry, Jay. I can’t deal with this mess. I’ll just wait for you on the side.”

Jay took a deep breath and finally spoke from his heart.

“Sharmi, I still love Nikkitha. She is my life. Yes, we complicated everything. We’re both scared of confronting each other, scared of getting hurt again. But I believe once Tharun and Mithra settle down properly, she’ll finally see things clearly.”

He paused. “I can feel her love for me is still there. She’s just a few steps away from accepting it, but the baby situation has put her on a moral back seat. Right now, my only focus is to get her back on her feet, take care of our baby, and repay what she did for me — especially getting back the assets her stepmother stole.”

He looked at Sharmi earnestly. “I need your help.”
Sharmi blinked. “What?”

“Bribe the lab people who will handle the DNA report.”
“That’s risky…” she muttered.

“Please,” Jay said. “Her stepmother will be watching my every move. I don’t want to take any chances. I trust you.”

After a long pause, Sharmi finally nodded. “Okay. I’ll do it.”

But i wish you both sit and discuss just for the baby in future.

Hours later, the doctor came out with a warm smile. “It’s a baby girl.”

A wave of overwhelming emotion crashed over Jay. His eyes instantly welled up as he stepped forward and gently took the tiny, wrinkled bundle into his arms. He lowered his head and placed the softest kiss on his daughter’s forehead, whispering something only the baby could hear. The sight of him — strong, protective, completely in love — made Nikkitha’s heart ache with a thousand unspoken feelings.

Exhausted but glowing, Nikkitha reached up with trembling fingers and pulled Jay closer. She kissed his forehead, her lips lingering there a second longer than necessary. In that quiet moment, tears slipped down her cheeks. This man had stood by her through everything, even when she didn’t deserve it.

From the doorway, Sharmi and Tharun watched silently. Tharun’s face had gone pale. His throat felt painfully dry, and for the first time, the full weight of reality seemed to crash down on him. The way Jay held the baby, the way Nikkitha looked at him — it was intimate, sacred, and painfully real.

Nikkitha’s tired eyes slowly lifted and met Tharun’s across the room.

For a long moment, neither of them looked away. She offered him a small, heavy-hearted smile — one filled with guilt, gratitude, and quiet sorrow. In her heart, she had already chosen Jay as the father. But the truth was far more complicated.

Whose baby is she, really?

The question haunted her even now, in this beautiful, overwhelming moment. She had been with both men during that crucial time. Jay had been passionate and frequent. Tharun had been intense too, especially after he secretly tampered with her pills. There was no way to know for sure without the DNA test — the one they were planning to manipulate.

And yet… it didn’t matter anymore.

In her heart, this little girl was Jay’s. She had to be. For Jay’s sake. For the baby’s future. For Tharun’s chance at a real life with Mithra. For her own fragile peace. She had decided long ago that biology would not decide this child’s father — love, responsibility, and protection would. And Jay had already proven himself in every possible way.

Still, a quiet storm of guilt twisted inside her chest. She had dragged two good men into her chaos. One was now holding a baby that might not even be his, pouring his entire heart into fatherhood. The other stood at the door, watching the woman he loved build a family with someone else — completely unaware that he might be the real father.

Tharun managed a faint smile in return, soft and genuine, but his eyes carried a new kind of pain. He had no idea of the storm raging inside her.

Nikkitha looked away, pressing her face gently against Jay’s arm, breathing in his familiar scent. In that moment, she made a silent vow:

No matter whose blood runs in her veins… you will be her father, Jay. I’ll make sure of it. I'm sorry, from today I will lie, I will be selfish just to be with you and the Baby needs you, even if it was Tharuns. It's mine and yours too. Lets start fresh, she spoke in her heart.. With tears flowing down realising what love is doing to her.

Who will know the actual result of DN A test. Sharmi? Or Tharun.

"Heygi bro, I have to say, your writing skills are amazing. Bringing Sharmi into the scene at just the right moment and changing the DNA report through her was a brilliant move. Because before this, they themselves could have altered the DNA report, so doing it through Sharmi made it much more believable."

Chapter 161 - Visible Shift.

Jay stood there, cradling the tiny baby girl against his chest. A similar wave of fierce protectiveness washed over him. He glanced around — Sharmi watching them quietly, Tharun staring at the baby with unreadable eyes. Jay instinctively adjusted his daughter so she nestled deeper into his chest, shielding her from the world.

My little cutie, he thought, your dad isn’t sharing you with anyone.

If Nikkitha ever tried to move away, he would chase her. He would do whatever it took to keep both of them in his life. He had stayed silent about his love for too long. From now on, he would be vocal — about his love for her, and for their daughter. Blood or no blood, he would raise her with his values, his discipline, and his endless care. He would claim her through love and affection.

He gently handed the baby to the nurse and stepped out of the room with Sharmi.

“I won’t give up,” he told her seriously. “I want to prove to the world that this baby is mine. Make the DNA report say exactly that.”

Sharmi nodded. “I’ll handle it.”

Once they brought Nikkitha and the baby home, something beautiful yet fragile shifted inside her.

She slowly began opening up to Jay in ways she had never allowed herself before. The walls she had carefully built started to crumble. She became more affectionate, finding every little excuse to stay close to him. She would complain about her aching back just so Jay would sit behind her and massage her shoulders with his strong, gentle hands. She would tear up over small discomforts — a headache, tiredness, or even a random wave of emotion — and then melt completely into his warm embrace.

She was clumsy at expressing her love. The words still felt heavy on her tongue, but she tried in her own way — through lingering touches, soft smiles, and the way she would quietly seek him out. Deep down, she was torn between heavy guilt for dragging Jay back into her messy, complicated life and the growing, undeniable realization that she truly needed him. That she loved him.

Jay was there for every single moment. Patient. Steady. Unshakable. Whether it was waking up to feed the baby at night so she could rest, cooking her favorite meals, or simply holding her when the weight of everything felt too much — he never wavered.

Tharun continued visiting every few weeks. He always came bearing gifts — soft new clothes, toys, or anything he thought the baby might need. He was trying his best to be present in his own way.

But every time he walked through the door, Nikkitha felt a heavy blanket of guilt settle over her heart. She still didn’t know whose baby it really was. Every time she called the little girl by the name Jay had chosen, she felt like she was betraying Tharun. The lies, the secrets, and the constant balancing act weighed heavily on her conscience.

Jay, ever respectful, would always quietly give them space whenever Tharun came over. He would step out to the balcony or go into another room. But Nikkitha hated it. She hated the distance it created, and she hated how it made her feel — like she was doing something wrong in her own home.

One day, after Tharun left, she made up her mind.

The next time he visited, she pulled him aside and spoke gently but firmly:

“Please don’t come to the house anymore, Tharun. Jay is here… it doesn’t feel right.” She paused, her voice softening with guilt. “I know you need me. But i remember my promises. I’ll come to you when I can.”

Tharun looked heartbroken but nodded in understanding. Before leaving, they shared one quick, bittersweet kiss — full of unspoken pain, lingering love, and quiet resignation.

As Nikkitha closed the door behind him, she leaned against it for a long moment, eyes closed, feeling the weight of her complicated heart.

Chapter 162 - The Sex Resumed

The following months passed in a fragile but beautiful harmony. Jay didn’t push the court case, choosing instead to wait for the stepmother to make the first move. He hired a caring nanny to look after Nikkitha and the baby whenever he was at work, wanting to ensure they were never alone.

Their nights slowly started belonging only to the two of them.

One peaceful night, Nikkitha was breastfeeding the baby in the dimly lit room when Jay walked in. He immediately apologized and began to leave, respecting her privacy.
“Why are you sorry?” Nikkitha asked softly, her voice warm. “You’re the first person who’s seen me like this… even before your daughter.”

Jay’s heart skipped a beat. Your daughter. She had always been so careful with her words before. Tonight felt different — softer, more open.

He stepped closer and kissed her forehead with deep tenderness. Nikkitha looked up at him lovingly, the baby still latched on. After a few minutes, she gently placed the baby in the cradle, then turned back to Jay. Her top was still open, her full breasts exposed, but she didn’t bother covering up. She walked straight into his arms and hugged him tightly, tears flowing down her cheeks.

“Can you really take me as I am?” she whispered, her voice breaking with emotion. “I’m so imperfect. I’ve caused you so much pain… but I realize now that I love you more than I ever thought possible. I need you, Jay. I know it sounds selfish after everything I’ve done, but I’m scared. The baby needs us… and I need us too.”
Jay held her like she was the most precious thing in the universe.

He kissed every inch of her face — her forehead, her eyelids, her cheeks, the tip of her nose — before capturing her lips in a deep, slow, soulful kiss. Their mouths moved together with years of pent-up love and longing. The kiss was wet, tender, and full of emotion, tongues dancing softly as they rediscovered each other.

After years of emotional distance, they finally came together again.

Jay laid her down gently on the bed. He took his time exploring her changed body with reverent hands and lips. He kissed down her neck, lavished attention on her sensitive, milk-heavy breasts, and whispered how beautiful she was. When he reached for a condom from his draw, Nikkitha watched him with soft eyes.

He was about to put it on when he paused, pulled out an extra one from draw and put it inside her purse, and placed it on the bedside table.

“Always keep this with you,” he said quietly.

Nikkitha’s expression changed. She immediately understood what he was subtly hinting at — Tharun. A flash of guilt and irritation hit her. She lightly beat his hand away, her eyes welling up again.

“Don’t,” she whispered. “Not tonight.”

Jay’s face softened said i care for you, you just gave birth to my daughter, its just six months... I worry for you.. Nikkitha felt relief hearing it. He pulled her close and kissed her deeply once more, pouring all his love into it, as if to say he was sorry for bringing it up.

He entered her slowly and carefully — extremely gentle, mindful of her body that had given birth only months ago. Their lovemaking was not wild or frantic. It was slow, deep, and intimate. Jay moved with loving restraint, kissing her constantly — on the lips, neck, and breasts — while whispering how much he loved her. Nikkitha wrapped her legs around him, pulling him closer, her hands caressing his back as she moaned softly into his mouth. She said you can be hard, i can handle.

Jay said no, it would hurt you

Their connection felt healing. Every thrust was filled with care, every kiss soaked with emotion. Even in the quiet intensity, they were completely lost in each other.
When they finally came down from their shared climax, they lay tangled in each other’s arms, skin to skin, hearts beating together.

After a long, comfortable silence, Nikkitha whispered, “We don’t have to pursue the case. It’s okay if I lose my mother’s assets. I don’t want you to face any shame or damage to your dignity.”

Jay shook his head and kissed her temple. “No. We can’t let your stepmother enjoy what’s rightfully yours. We need to fight this.”

“What if the DNA test proves the baby is Tharun’s?” she asked fearfully.

Jay smiled softly and stroked her hair. “I already spoke to Sharmi. Her husband has strong connections. They’ll make sure it works out.”

He hesitated for a moment, then asked gently, “What have you decided about Tharun?”

Nikkitha pressed her naked body even closer to his, skin still flushed. “Will you hate me if I’m completely honest?”

Jay smiled with quiet understanding. “I already know the answer. I just hope Mithra manages to capture his heart soon. Only then can you be fully mine.”

Nikkitha kissed his cheek tenderly. “I’m sorry.”

He kissed her lips again, long and sweet. “I have my fair share of responsibility in all this too.”

One more month passed.

Jay felt it was time to reopen case as step mother didnt make move.. but Nikkitha remained hesitant to reopen the court case, terrified that any spotlight on their lives might damage Jay’s reputation and dignity.

One afternoon, she finally went to meet Tharun at his flat — the first time since the baby was born. She gone to fullfill her promise. Trying to balance her promise and life.

The moment he opened the door, Tharun’s eyes lit up with a mixture of joy, relief, and deep longing. He didn’t say a word at first. He simply pulled her inside, closed the door, and wrapped her in a long, tight hug. His arms held her with genuine care, as if he was afraid she might disappear again.

“I’ve missed you so much,” he whispered against her hair, his voice thick with emotion. “Not a single day has passed without thinking about you and the baby.” i was disappointed when you asked me not to come to the home.

He pulled back slightly, cupped her face tenderly with both hands, and looked into her eyes. Then he leaned in and kissed her — soft, slow, and full of love. It wasn’t rushed. His lips moved gently against hers, savoring the moment, pouring months of suppressed longing into that single kiss. His thumbs gently stroked her cheeks as he held her like something precious.

For a few beautiful seconds, it was just that — a quiet, heartfelt reunion.

But the hunger that had been building up in him for so many months soon became impossible to control. His breathing grew heavier. The kiss deepened. His hands slowly slid down from her face to her shoulders, then to her waist, pulling her closer until their bodies were pressed tightly together.

His palms roamed over her changed figure with desperate appreciation. He squeezed her fuller, post-pregnancy breasts through her top, groaning softly into her mouth as he felt their weight and softness.

Tharun’s love was still there — gentle and caring at its core — but the physical hunger won over. He kissed her more passionately, pressing her back against the wall as his hands explored her body with growing urgency.

“Nikkitha… I’ve missed you so much,” he groaned against her lips. “I need you today. Please.”

She could feel his hardness pressing insistently against her as he pulled her toward the bedroom. For her, it was duty mixed with guilt. She had made him a promise. She had pushed him into this complicated life. So when he started undressing her, she let him — even though her heart wasn’t fully in it.

Tharun removed her clothes with trembling hands, kissing down her neck and sucking on her sensitive breasts, which were still heavy from breastfeeding. He was wild with need, pushing her onto the bed and climbing over her. His cock was rock hard, throbbing against her thigh as he tried to enter her without a condom.

That was when Nikkitha snapped back to reality.

“Wait—” She pressed her hands against his chest, stopping him just in time.

One careless moment and I could create doubt about the baby’s father again.

Tharun froze, breathing heavily, clearly frustrated. “What’?”

That close call triggered something in him. His eyes narrowed. “Wait… you don’t know who the father of baby is?”

Nikkitha’s heart raced. She quickly covered it up, forcing a small smile. “I mean im telling about the moment found i was pregnant. Don’t overthink it.”

Before he could ask anything more, she took control. She pushed him onto his back, grabbed a condom from her purse, she smiled at it the moment she remember Jay putting into it, she thanked him with a smile inside her hear. She rolled it onto his throbbing erection with deliberate strokes. Tharun groaned loudly at her touch.

To distract him completely, she straddled him and sank down onto his cock in one smooth motion. Tharun let out a deep, guttural moan as her warm, tight walls enveloped him.

“Fuck… Nikkitha,” he gasped, gripping her hips.

She started riding him — not with passion, but with focused determination. Her movements were deliberate and rhythmic, squeezing him with her inner muscles to keep his mind clouded with pleasure. Even though she felt distant emotionally, she forced herself to engage. She leaned forward, letting her breasts brush against his chest, kissing him deeply whenever he tried to speak.

Tharun was lost in her. He thrust up into her desperately, hands squeezing her ass, moaning her name like a prayer. “You feel so good… I’ve missed this pussy so much.”

Nikkitha closed her eyes and kept moving, grinding against him, giving him exactly what he needed. She whispered soft encouragements in his ear, making him feel wanted, all while her mind was partially elsewhere — thinking of Jay and the baby waiting at home.

It didn’t take long. Tharun’s thrusts became erratic. He gripped her tightly and came hard inside the condom with a loud groan, shuddering beneath her.

Afterwards, he pulled her into his arms, breathing heavily, completely distracted from his earlier question.

That same night, when Nikkitha returned home, she confessed everything to Jay. She told him about the near-slip, Tharun’s dangerous question, and how she had to distract him with sex.

Jay listened calmly, without anger or judgment. When she finished, he pulled her close and kissed her forehead.

“It’s time,” he said firmly. “We can’t keep running from this.

Trust me — Sharmi’s husband can pull this off. This isn’t just about the assets anymore. When the case is heard, it will send a clear message to the world that this baby is ours. To your stepmother. To Tharun. To everyone.”

Nikkitha looked at him, feeling a strange mix of relief and courage bloom in her chest. She nodded slowly.

“Yes,” she whispered. “Let’s file the appeal tomorrow.”

Chapter 163 : Nikitha's new move.

The following week, Jay and Nikkitha officially filed the appeal in court. Jay personally spoke with Sharmi about the progress. She reassured him that her husband would handle everything from behind the scenes. Unfortunately, due to court scheduling delays and a series of upcoming holidays, the case was pushed back by nearly two months.

In the meantime, life at home continued with a quiet, growing sweetness.

Jay and Nikkitha kept building their love day by day. They both knew their relationship was born out of complications and mess, but with love they had silently chosen to face it together. Their bond grew stronger through peaceful nights, shared laughter over silly things, and the tender moments they spent watching their daughter sleep. For the first time in a long while, they felt like a real family.

Nikkitha continued honoring her promise to Tharun — strictly once a month. But something inside her had changed, and it was becoming impossible to hide.

Tharun started noticing the shift during their meetings. Nikkitha’s touches had become more mechanical, almost distant. What used to be passionate and eager now felt like a transaction — dutiful but lacking the fire and genuine desire he once felt from her. The emotional connection that had kept him hooked was fading.

On their third meeting after the baby’s birth, Tharun didn’t try to initiate sex. Instead, he sat her down on the couch and looked at her with quiet sadness.

“Earlier, when we had sex, I used to feel your love,” he said softly. “Now it feels… mechanical. Like you’re just going through the motions for my sake.”

Nikkitha met his eyes honestly, her voice gentle but firm. “You’re right. Because I once had some real feelings for you. Now… it’s become just an obligation. I don’t feel happy offering myself like this anymore. I feel like I should only give my body when I can do it wholeheartedly, with actual joy.”

Her words landed like a heavy blow. Pain flashed clearly across Tharun’s face. Nikkitha saw it and felt a pang of guilt, but she also knew he needed to hear the truth.

After a long, heavy silence, Tharun asked, “Then what will make you happy? What will make you give yourself to me again the way you used to — with real passion and love?”

Nikkitha saw her chance. She had been doubting for a while whether Tharun was genuinely trying with Mithra or simply relying on her monthly visits to cope. She couldn’t ask Mithra or his mother directly without planting unnecessary insecurity, so she decided to investigate his life herself.

“I need to see real effort,” she said clearly. “I want stories. Proof that you’re actually giving Mithra a proper chance. When I see genuine improvement with my own eyes — when I feel like you’re trying to build something real with her — then I’ll relax and give you the kind of sex you want. With real feeling.”

Tharun let out a small, bittersweet smile — a mix of sadness and reluctant admiration. “You’re smart. You want me to work on my marriage, let you supervise my relationship… and only then reward me with your body as motivation.”

Nikkitha asked softly, “Does that disgust you?”

Tharun pulled her into his arms and kissed her forehead with surprising tenderness and respect. “No. No one will ever fully understand you. But the people who fall in love with you… they do. Now I understand why Jay is so patient with all of this. Why he still allows me to be around you.”
Nikkitha looked at him, deeply touched by his words.

Tharun continued, his voice low, “Get ready. The day I truly move on and commit to Mithra… give me one unforgettable farewell sex. The kind I’ve always wanted from you.”

She smiled softly. “Deal.”

However Tharun pulled her into hug and said, until i don't care even if its mechanical, i need you, He smiled before closing her mouth with his.

That same night, after putting the baby to sleep, Nikkitha curled up beside Jay on the bed and told him everything she had discussed with Tharun — the mechanical nature of their meetings, the honest conversation, the pain in Tharun’s eyes, and the “farewell sex” agreement.

Jay listened quietly, his arm wrapped around her shoulders, gently stroking her hair. He didn’t interrupt once. When she finished, a slow smirk spread across his face, a playful glint shining in his eyes.

“I’m actually looking forward to that farewell sex of yours,” he teased, his voice low and mischievous. “Maybe that day I’ll throw a big party for all our close friends and celebrate my wife finally coming to me completely — mind, body, and soul.”

Nikkitha laughed softly and lightly smacked his arm. “Why am I not fully yours already?” she protested, though her tone was warm and affectionate. “I’m mentally yours. Emotionally yours. Physically yours. With Tharun, it’s just sex — nothing more. No feelings. No love. Just… fulfilling a promise.”

Jay’s playful expression softened into something deeper. He pulled her closer, wrapping both arms around her and pressing her body flush against his.
“I know, baby,” he whispered against her forehead, his voice full of love and quiet confidence. “Tharun is no longer a threat to us. I trust you completely.”

Nikkitha melted into him, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on his chest. For a moment, they simply held each other in comfortable silence, breathing together.

Then Jay tilted her chin up and kissed her deeply. The kiss started slow and tender but quickly grew passionate, filled with years of love, understanding, and hard-earned trust. Their lips moved together with a familiar hunger, tongues dancing softly as they poured all their complicated emotions into that one kiss.

When they finally pulled apart, both slightly breathless, Jay rested his forehead against hers.

“We’ve created such a messy but strangely workable equation, haven’t we?” he murmured with a small smile.

Nikkitha nodded, her eyes shining with affection. “We have. But I wouldn’t want to solve it with anyone else.”

They kissed again — slower this time, lingering, full of quiet reassurance and deep love — both aware that despite all the complications, they were choosing each other every single day with love.

The change of pills has a reason as that one time is what matters the most and it did....Jay's baby....

Still confused on the way screenplay is going since last few updates.....when did Tharun fell in love with Nikita so madly, we know he did love her but wasn't the other way round true that he loved Mithra? If not then this whole thing is crazy wrong and another mistake from Nikita over the pile of mistakes and for the first time knowingly, did she assume Tharun didn't love Mithra and will fall in love with Mithra once he sees her love?...I believed that he loved Mithra and didn't move on from his past though he is adamant on wanting Nikita..and thought Nikita realized this and hence she was pushing him to Mithra but now the sequences are portraying as if he is only in love with Nikita and Mithra side of things are again kept in the dark...

Why do we feel like Tharun is left stranded in this biggest deal at the end and is the victim at the end, If the goal was to make things right then the pieces should fall into the place automatically, Tharun need not fight for Nikita nor forcibly fall in love with Mithra again,  unfortunately that's not how things have shaped ever since the deal...
I genuinely thought he loved Mithra but doesn't seem like that is the way things are moving or at least from what we have known so far....

Jay and Nikitha had love, but cohabitation was one thing indirectly bought them back. However Communication was not a issue with them, their friendship and ease and alot factors, finally bought them back.

However Tharun closed the path, one mistake Nikitha kept doing is she allowed Tharun, even after he got married she didnt find a way to shut that door, so he is not sincere, he stil kep the door closed, which Mithra could not break.

Nikitha somewhat realising it now, she is using same sex as tool to as a demand to make Tharun open bit by bit show his efforts, which would eventually make Tharun to open his eyes wide, look what he missed. Mithra will take care from there.

Chapter 164 : THE FINAL TWIST that No one Saw!

The cour troom was packed. Months of waiting, anxiety, and whispered strategies had finally led to this day. Nikkitha sat beside Jay, her hands trembling in her lap. Her heart hammered so loudly she was sure the entire court could hear it.

The ju dge entered. The case was called.

Nikkitha’s stepmother sat across from them with a smug, victorious smile — the kind that said she had already won. She had been watching their every move like a hawk for months.

The ju dge got straight to business. “Given the dispute over paternity and legitimacy, the court has ordered a DNA test. The samples were collected and sent to an independent laboratory. The report is now before the cou rt.”

Nikkitha felt the ground shift beneath her feet. This was the moment she had feared the most.

Sharmi’s husband had assured them the bribe matter was handled quietly. The lab doctor was supposed to “adjust” the report in their favor. But as the doctor — a stern, middle-aged man in a white coat — stepped into the witness box, Nikkitha’s blood ran cold.
The doctor cleared his throat and looked directly at the jud ge.

“Your Honor, I have come here personally because an attempt was made to bribe me and manipulate the DNA results.”
A loud gasp rippled through the courtroom. Nikkitha’s world spun. Jay’s hand tightened around hers, but even he looked shaken.
This is it, she thought. Everything is over.

Her stepmother’s face lit up with malicious delight. Whispers erupted. Nikkitha could already imagine the headlines, the shame, Jay losing face in front of everyone, and Tharun possibly claiming the baby — destroying everything they had carefully built.
The doctor continued, his voice steady and clinical.

“However… I rejected the bribe. I conducted the test myself along with my team and cross-verified it at two other reputed centers. Here are the original, untampered reports.”

He submitted a thick file to the co urt.

The judge examined the documents carefully. The entire cour troom fell into a pin-drop silence. Nikkitha felt like she was drowning. Her mind raced with worst-case scenarios — losing the assets, losing respect, losing Jay’s dignity, and the devastating fallout for Mithra and Tharun.

After what felt like an eternity, the jud ge looked up.

“Based on the DNA evidence submitted… the child is biologically the daughter of Mr. Jay and Mrs. Nikkitha.”
Silence.
Then chaos.

Nikkitha’s head snapped up in disbelief. Jay’s grip on her hand became almost painful. Her stepmother’s face turned ghostly pale — the smug smile wiped clean in a single second.

They continued reading the order with authority:

“Therefore, all allegations of infidelity and false reconciliation stand dismissed. The assets in question rightfully belong to Nikkitha as per her late mother’s will. The stepmother’s claim is rejected. This court also notes the malicious intent behind the prolonged litigation and imposes a cost on the petitioner.”

The gavel came down with a loud bang.

Nikkitha sat frozen, tears streaming down her face. Jay pulled her into his arms right there in the courtroom, kissing the top of her head as the reality sank in.

They had won. Sharmi’s husband who was there in the room, showed a thumbs up, which Jay and Nikkitha noticed, they just needed it, this was enough for them.

The publicly announced father was Jay.

But the real twist came later that evening.

When they returned home, Sharmi called Jay.
“You won’t believe this,” she said, laughing.

“The doctor who exposed the bribe? He was never actually bribed. My husband only pretended to approach him. The doctor was working with us the whole time. He played along to trap your stepmother — she had also tried to bribe him separately.

He recorded everything. That’s why he came to court personally — to expose her attempt too.”
Jay laughed in disbelief and put the phone on speaker so Nikkitha could hear.

Nikkitha covered her mouth, tears of relief and shock mixing together. The “betrayal” in court had been an orchestrated masterstroke — a cinematic twist designed to look like total disaster before delivering complete victory.

“But there’s something you need to know.”
Actually, it was a surprise.
Jay asked what?

I just said the Doctor was working with us from the start, but I didn't say we have altered the report.
Jay and Nikkitha were stunned.
Nikkitha asked What do you mean?

“Congratulations, you two!” Sharmi said, her voice bubbling with excitement.
Nikkitha and Jay exchanged confused glances.

“The doctor never took any bribe,” Sharmi revealed. “We never actually needed to manipulate anything. The DNA test was always going to come back positive. The baby really is Jay’s. We wanted to give you both a surprise — and honestly, we wanted to watch your stepmother’s face crumble in real time when she thought she had won, only to lose everything.”

Nikkitha’s knees nearly gave out. She covered her mouth, tears flooding her eyes.
Jay stood frozen for a second, then let out a disbelieving laugh. He pulled Nikkitha into a crushing hug, burying his face in her neck.
“She’s really mine…” he whispered, voice thick with emotion. “Our daughter is actually ours.”

Sharmi laughed on the phone. “We knew from the beginning but decided to keep it a secret. Consider it our gift. Now go celebrate properly — no more shadows hanging over your family.”

That night, as they lay in bed with their daughter sleeping peacefully in the cradle nearby, Jay pulled Nikkitha close.
“We actually did it, Life surprised us” he whispered, kissing her forehead.

Nikkitha smiled through fresh tears. “For a moment, I really thought we had lost everything…but I never know life had gifted you back to me through our daughter”

Jay chuckled softly. “Sometimes the darkest moment comes right before the light.”
“I can’t believe it,” Nikkitha whispered, tracing patterns on his chest. “All this time… I was so scared.”

Jay kissed her forehead, then her lips, slow and deep. “She’s our daughter. In every way that matters.”
The relief, joy, and love between them felt overwhelming. For the first time, there were no more doubts, no more secrets, no more fear.
They had won — not just in court, but in life.

He tilted her chin up and kissed her deeply — slow, grateful, and full of love. The kind of kiss that said they had survived the storm together.

Outside, the city lights twinkled like silent applause.

Chapter 165 - I LOVE YOU!.

The night felt endless — in the best possible way.

They had no words.. but they could not sleep, they stay awake for a long time, just hugging each other

After the emotional rollercoaster of the court victory and Sharmi’s surprising revelation, Jay and Nikkitha lay in bed, skin still tingling from the overwhelming relief. Their daughter slept peacefully in the cradle beside them, a tiny symbol of their new beginning. For the first time in years, the heavy weight that had pressed on their hearts had finally lifted.

Jay move up toward her, gently brushing a strand of hair from her flushed face. His eyes were soft, full of quiet certainty.

“Tomorrow morning,” he whispered, “we’re going back to our hometown to meet my family, they may feel dissapointed seeing we hide so many things including baby. But they would forgive us. No more running. No more second thoughts. This is real now, Nikki. You, me, and our daughter — we’re a family. Truly.”

Nikkitha’s eyes welled up instantly. She nodded, her voice thick with emotion. “I don’t want to run anymore, Jay. I’m done being scared. I want this. I want us.”

They held each other tightly and made sacred promises that night — the kind that would define the rest of their lives:
No more separation.
No more secrets.
No more running away when things got hard.

If they fought, they would sit down and talk it out instead of ghosting or shutting down.

They would face every storm together, openly and honestly.

Tears flowed freely as they cried in each other’s arms — tears of relief, regret for lost time, gratitude, and deep, healing love. The vulnerability slowly melted into something hotter, more primal, and desperate.

What started as soft, tearful kisses quickly turned into raw hunger.

Jay pulled her beneath him, his body covering hers completely. His hands roamed her curves with reverence and urgency, as if he wanted to memorize every inch of her. Their kisses grew deeper, messier, and full of need. Tongues danced, breaths mingled, and soft moans filled the room.

There was no slow teasing tonight. Jay positioned himself between her thighs and entered her in one deep, powerful thrust. Nikkitha gasped loudly, her nails digging into his back as she welcomed him completely. Their bodies moved together in perfect rhythm — hard, passionate, and filled with years of suppressed love.

Jay made love to her like a man who had almost lost everything and won it back. Every thrust was deliberate, deep, and full of emotion. He kissed her constantly — her lips, her neck, her breasts — whispering her name like a prayer.

As they climbed higher together, pleasure building to an unbearable intensity, Jay locked eyes with her and growled with raw emotion,
“I love you.”

Tears slipped from her eyes even as her body trembled on the edge of ecstasy. A radiant smile broke across her face.

“I waited so long to hear that…” she gasped, her voice breaking. “Not just in pleasure… but with real love.

I love you too, Jay. I missed you so much. I’m so sorry for everything… Nothing can split us apart from here on. I’m yours. Completely.”

Their orgasms hit them like a tidal wave — powerful, shattering, and deeply connected. They came together, moaning each other’s names, bodies shaking and clenching as intense pleasure rolled through them in heavy waves. They clung to one another desperately, riding every last pulse until they collapsed, breathless and spent.

For a long time afterwards, they lay tangled in each other’s arms — sweaty, glowing, and utterly content. Nikkitha traced lazy circles on his chest while Jay stroked her back tenderly.

After a while, she asked playfully, “So… do you still want to make the homecoming extra special? Or is this reunion enough?”

Jay raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smile forming. “You mean your farewell sex with Tharun?”

Nikkitha laughed and buried her face in his neck, embarrassed but amused. Their conversation quickly slipped back into their old, familiar playful rhythm.

“Should I explain it to you again?” she asked mischievously.

“Not necessary,” Jay replied with a smirk. “I know you. It’s just sex. But still… I should do something to make you remember your own craziness.”
“Oh? What will you do?” she challenged, poking his chest.

Jay grinned wickedly. “Maybe I’ll decorate the entire hall with flowers. Roll out a red carpet. Put up banners saying ‘Welcome Home’. And of course, I’ll record every bit of it… especially if you come back limping from heavy sex with him.”

Nikkitha gasped dramatically and smacked his arm repeatedly. “Jay! You’re impossible!”

He laughed loudly and pulled her on top of him, easily trapping her in his arms as she continued playfully hitting him. Their laughter filled the room — light, free, and full of pure joy.

In that beautiful moment, they weren’t just lovers or husband and wife navigating complications.

They were Jay and Nikkitha again — best friends turned passionate lovers turned life partners. The playfulness reminded them of who they truly were at their core.

And for the first time, the future felt bright, certain, full of love and they know its the start of something beautiful, that will keep them happy forever, their love can withstand any storm.

THE DNA result is public declaration, he would know it.

He could not do it because she always use pills. But when he changed it to tablets, Jay came into picture, things changed from her.
