Yes she is committed 100% to Tharun, any doubt? She has left her love for him, in a way sacrificed her love after knowing that all this while she misunderstood Jay and knows how deeply he loves her as well but still she moved on just because she has committed to Tharun and promised him that she is his woman for future. She is willing to try life with Tharun for the caring and patience he has shown, for the emotional support he gave all this time for her in her bad times...

she didn't understand why Jay was able to move on overnight from her, she didn't even question that herself as she didn't care that much, she got what she wanted but did not think about why and how? That was the level of commitment she has shown, she doesn't know yet that Jay watched her having sex with Tharun and that broke him and that piece of detail might come later at some point but the point is she has moved on in her mind, setting new future, she doesn't know if it will work or not but she is putting her 100% efforts from the beginning since that night she said yes to Tharun for sex....

She did her best to make sure her ex doesn't suffer, she put her 100% efforts to make sure she won't feel guilt that will kill her and her relationship with Tharun, she made sure she could do everything she can to make it clean so nothing will haunt her back and haunt Tharun so he would hate her, once she leaves Jay, she might take time to forget him but she did whatever she could do to help him move on as well, that is her maturity but she did one mistake..and it is big mistake, she didn't make sure Tharun has shown same maturity towards her and relationship with her, Its not her fault if Tharun failed to clean his mess, its not her fault if he didn't have a clean break up as her, it won't be her fault if Tharun failed from his side to keep it clean, sometimes love only is not enough, live proof is Jay and Nikita, having known that Tharun should have been more careful...he should have cleaned his mess, give clean explanation to his love(Mithra) and made sure she was fine with the breakup just like how Nikita handled it....That is the big mistake Nikita did....it will cost her dearly now...

Remember her words....it will be useful in upcoming chapters:

And for the record, I guarantee you — I won’t stand in the way of Mithra.”

And Nikita never misses her word, her promise.....She doesn't have strength now to take more guilt for break other girls heart by stealing his man.....she blindly believed all this time that Tharun will take care of everything....She believed Tharun's word that Mithra never responded his love, she believed Tharun when he said Mithra is Jay in his relationship....

Of course this is my guess and what I understood from the plot....whether she will breakup with Tharun seeing how messy he handled Mithra or not, whether she will reconcile with Jay or not, whether she will live alone as she said without both men or not, or whether US/UK trip will be the plot to make Jay and Nikita bond again or not....we have to wait and see....

All this while I was thinking the tipping point for her was thinking that Jay and Sharmi had sex, which made her invite Tharun for kiss and then later sex at the Villa. That might have been a catalyst but her response to Sharmi next day morning after knowing the truth has a clue where she says something like "I might have misunderstood your relation with Jay but I chose Tharun". Infact the tipping point might have been how Tharun rejected Dhruv's proposal knowing very well that no one is going to touch her (she infact asks Tharun this). But here also she knows that Tharun made a deal of not escalating Jay Anjali relationship and infact Jay felt bad not being able to stop Tharun that night when they talk about this. This is direct opposite of what Jay did when Tharun proposed to pursue Nikitha. But even here she knows Jays hands are tied and that Tharun made the deal not to escalate Jay Anjali affair and Jay is pained by the discussion he had with Tharun. That's when she says she will allow Tharun to flirt with her so that he doesn't dig deep into Jay Nikita. After that they go for a movie where she allows him to kiss because of the turmoil she feels within. Then comes our Sharmi's little games where she doesn't reveal her marital status and that ultimately leads to consummating their relationship that night.

In one of my earlier comments I actually asked this question that why she didn't ask Tharun about Mithra? Because when he showed that breakup text that was sent but unseen? Did she assume that like Tharun mentioned that Mithra is so distant with Tharun that she didn't even respond? But that would have been seen as a lie when Tharun's mother mentions Mithra as his wife after their return from village. Atleast that conversation should have happened between Tharun and Nikitha, no? 

As per the latest chapter for the next 2+3 weeks they just spent getting to know eachother. This might be one of those authors liberties but doesn't sit realistic with me.

Also if you see their sex life also progressed from being gentle for the first 3 times to rough and domineering the last 2 times. Is that authors way of saying Tharun is not what he showed Nikita when he started courting

To be frank, I expected Mithra in apartment with Tharun when Nikita comes back from village...I didn't expect Tharun's mother or at least thought both Tharun's mother or Mithra should be together. I expected big accusations and big reveals as soon as she returns and finds Mithra with Tharun....

I do not know the purpose of this 2-3 weeks bonding between them and more sex, maybe Author wants to keep them as couple at the end and give them strength to fight Mithra, who knows...that would suck but can be a possibility. I have read one comment earlier long back, it revealed what happens but lets see...

Mithra ready accept tharun affair with nikkitha . (its purely affair not love ) . If she ready to accept means surly she will fight for tharun . Mithra will brock after here the affair means ....it's so simple tharun will get nikkitha . But sure Tharun will be get mithra or nikkitha .

What a beautiful comment to appreciate RCF's insight and analysis!!!! 100% agree that he picks nuances /subtelities most don't pickup or understand at all. In one of his earlier comments he highlighted the discussion after accident where Nikitha answering a hypothetical question of Tharun about Mithra. I didn't even consider that question even though I remember that discussion, because immediately after that he shows the text he sent to Mithra about breakup. That's when she really commits to Tharun thinking he moved on from Mithra for her.

I know you might set an expection, deep down, you always had a hero, heroine and vilalin. you are okay with villain having her for sometime and you want heroin to reroute to hero

reality is complex, its not just physicall, its emotionally invovled, all my previous storie one of character goes down grey so i easily made them a scape goat, but in this story, im honestly trying to find a track for real love and how they find it. It means, without painting anyone villain they will settled down to who they truly love

Yeah, in the chapter where they discuss Tharun after pizza breakfast, they actually discuss this. Nikitha says something like just like Jay has sex with Anjali, she too will have sex with Tharun and when he says it's in the past, she says future will become past in the future or something like that. The main issue here I feel is not Jay witnessing sex or Nikitha telling Jay that she loves Tharun and Chose him , IIRC in that discussion he actually says if it's only sex then not a problem or something like that but warns her she will get hurt when Tharun uses her for lust. But we know that Tharun loves her and despite the way he behaves possessivly or not transparent about Mithra, Nikitha wants to build her future with Tharun despite as of now she having her heart with Jay. She chose that and she believes she was so wrong about Jay, she crossed so many lines and she is the one not deserving of Jay. 
As of now Jay also doesn't know about Tharun and Mithra. As far as I know he is aware that they were planning to get married next year. He didn't know the backstory of his breakup text.

My take is Jay will accept her if she says she loves him and made a mistake of not understanding his acts/feeling but what will make her think that she is worthy of Jay and they can have a life together going forward.

Also there are gaps like we don't know what Jay told Sharmi when they went to hospital for bandage removal. If he told everything, will Sharmila reveal that to Nikitha. She actually was very remorseful for her part and even offered herself. Will she interfere in this situation?
